Got this from a friend and its whether the the Swiss militia men should be deprived of having their SG 90 (SIG 550) Assault rifle at home.
Please go to the Blick website below and vote “Nein” under “Umfrage” http://www.blick.ch/news/schweiz/armeewaffen-gehoeren-ins-zeughaus-77154 |

here is the correct link:
http://www.blick.ch/news/schweiz/armeewaffen-gehoeren-ins-zeughaus-77154 From Babelfish: Tragically: A 21-year-old recruit shoots the 16-year-old Coiffeur-Lehrtochter Francesca (view. ch reported). Disruptive: It is once more an army weapon that comes in a violent crime to the use. Yet this year yet Minister of Defense Samuel Schmid meant: "The weapon belongs to the defense man home", and army boss Christophe bold ice explained: "A soldier without weapon is no soldier". Schmid did not want to comment on the youngest occurrence. First the backgrounds of the deed would have to be clarified. Nevertheless the discussion will arise around the storage of the army weapons probably already in December in the parliament again. After the blood deed in Zurich-Höngg, the voting could fall out over the personal service weapon differently. In the past autumn session, the exile was rejected of storm weapon and pistol into the arsenal with 97 to 76 voices. The subject provides also under the views. ch-readers for violent discussions. Away with the weapon for view. ch-reader Bruno out of Aarau is however clear: "Army weapons belong into the arsenal! Can when we vote finally about that?" But there are also other voices: "Weapon and ammunition belong to the defense man. That was holds already always so!" novel out of Lucerne. Nevertheless the majority of the readers wants to store the weapon no longer more long at home: "Storm weapon and army pistols belong into the arsenal", writes novel out of Rheineck. Must "like many persons yet die? The idea with the duty of the ammunition is yet a farce. Everyone that in the military is, knows comes like simply one at patron", means Gustavo out of Bellikon. View. ch-reader of Christine cooks Serano brings it on the point: "The death of a 16-year-old through an army weapon seems with commentary enough ..." President of the Federal Republic Micheline Calmy-Rey sees that similarly: "Women pay a very high price and it asks itself already the question, whether one these weapons at home let should", gave it to consider vis-à-vis the "day show". The decree of the Bundesrat to deliver no pockets ammunition more at soldiers, designated it than "half step" that the thing however would not regulate. The discussion would go on now. (to that/AP) |

In keeping with Swiss tradition, I will remain neutral on the issue and find a way to get rich off of both sides.

Fixed the link in the original post got a little bit ahead of myself there...

It seems we are loosing this one...39% want guns to be loked up at the armory
|
|
We learned this one the hard way while still a British colony. Storing things you might need in a distant armory doesn't do anyone any good when you need a firearm "right f*cking now".

You voted against the SIG 550 assault rifle being taken away from the Swiss militia men to be stored in an armory, instead of being stored at home like they are today. |

Vote: Waffe soll weiterhin zuhause gelagert werden.
Right now its 50%/50% |
|
This sure seems to be a stubborn one, their is no vote count on it so now way of seeing how many votes are needed to turn it around or to get a sense if its rigged by the newspaper. Wouldn't be surprised if this is a common practice among European papers.
