The sad thing is, some of the flashlight guys on here would be trying to find a way to get more lumens out of it.

It ain't just the lumens.

The duct tape will mitigate most of the recoil

IMO engineering a .50 weaponlight could have been simplified by making it attach to the weapon mount. That way, it wouldn't experience as much recoil impulse from operation.

The WiseLED Xtruder LED Crew served weapon light is what you seek.

Youtube video comparing the WiseLED Xtruder to the Surefire Hellfighter
WiseLED Xtruder LED Crew served weapon light mounted on Dillon Aero M134 minigun
In this footage we have included a brief comparison of the 3000 lumen HID Surefire Hellfighter, both aiming at car positioned 492 yards/450 meters from the lights.

I got a DRMO Hellfighter issued to me.  The case for that fucker is huge and I haven't used it once.  Hell, I don't think I can even power it?  Doesn't it use mil 24 volt?

I do want to do some night shoots at the range and stick the IR filter on to catch people doing dumb shit though.
