You don't have to be gay to watch it.

In this show, they are building a new house for the family of that native american woman (I forget her name ) who died early in the Iraq war, in the ambush where Jessica Lynch was captured.

Yes.

Turns out the she had a couple of kids, that her parents are now raising, after she was killed.  So I guess they're going to tear down their trailer and build the family a new house to raise the kids in.

That's a great show. I hope everyone that is on it appreciates what is being done and returns that fortune in kindness to those that they meet.

this episode is pretty intense, especially because they are making a Veterans' center for the Indian vets.  Seeing all those old vets marching down the street with the flags and the riderless horse was very emotional.

I really like that show.  They do great things.

What I'd like to know is what happened to the soldier's $200,000+ death benefit, and why don't the kids have it.  And before you say they don't get that much, even in ROTC, we had that benefit if we died on the government's time.

Maybe they do but it's being held for the kids futures and not being blown on houses and cars.
