I'm trying to. I'm 6'2" and weigh about 235, I have about 35lbs to lose so I'll be working more at this as it's a goal now.

I run Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Total body workout Tuesday and Friday. Drink beer and watch football on Sunday.

Lots of us work out 3-5 times a week on a regular basis.

Does lifting my steak on/off the grill count? No?

What about lifting a case out of my trunk? Still no?

Then never.

7 days a week, hour a day.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 11:52:11 AM EST
This poll is a bunch of bullshit, ARFcom is not in this good of shape.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 11:53:37 AM EST
I do PT 4 days a week and a few times a week and at lunch since there is a gym nearby.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 11:53:47 AM EST
Almost daily. I go to the gym for an hour 3 to 5 days a week depending on my schedule. I made it 4 times last week for example.

Well, not really...its just that the people that exercise on arfcom will be more likely to participate in a thread about exercise :)

Yeah, good point.

I recently started back again.

I lift 3 days a week. My plan is to start running 3 days a week also.

It can be tough sometimes, but you gotta do it.

Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:03:20 PM EST
I usually get in 6 additional hours of working out a week
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:06:06 PM EST
I do some sort of cardio 5 days a week in the morning (since I started triathlon training, I sometimes do more than one in a day, eg cycling then running or swimming then cycling), and I lift 4 days a week in the late afternoon/early evening.

5 days a week.

It's called work. Some of you need to find some of it.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:11:34 PM EST
4-5 times per week. Mostly weights.

So those people who do jobs that aren't physical need to quit them, then?
Or what the hell ARE you trying to say?
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:12:38 PM EST
How about adding 3 times a week, or several times a week to the poll?

It's called "sample bias" and it's the bane of any researcher that uses voluntary surveys.

5-6 days a week

I commute by bicycle to work. 12 miles total each day.

I jog every day, and try to do a bike ride daily, too.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:16:44 PM EST
4-5 miles 6 to 7 days a week sometimes with weights thrown in.

Plus those of us in .mil don't have much of a choice...
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:19:13 PM EST
I usually do situps, pushups, and some boxing every day, but at least twice a week I'll go for a two mile jog.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:21:19 PM EST
5-6 days a week.

+24oz curls & pie !

Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:24:23 PM EST
2-4 days a week.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:25:55 PM EST
I've been known to get out of my chair to walk to another one on occasion.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:36:28 PM EST
6 days a week. Alternate workout day than cardio day. Started working out again after a 10 year break about 8 months ago. Dropped 40 lbs. and working on the last 10 right now.

pretty much everyday
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 12:52:30 PM EST

Same here, 3-5 for me.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 2:55:23 PM EST
3-5 Times a week, depending on how busy I am. At my busiest I at least swim a mile 3 times a week.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 3:01:34 PM EST
6 days on, 1 day off a week.

Alternating weights and cardio every other day during the week. Do about 45 minutes of progressing sets on weights, and about 30 minutes of stationary bike on cardio days.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 3:02:33 PM EST
Every day. 90 mins of hot yoga. Have done 143 classes in 142 days so far..
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 3:03:01 PM EST
A lot of people are full of it. Or they consider getting the paper as a workout.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 3:03:17 PM EST
6 days a week but 3 of those are pretty light
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 3:04:02 PM EST
I lift weights every other day. I really should do cardio, but I suck at running, and I don't like running.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 3:05:16 PM EST
I usually exercise five to six times a week. My routines consist of Tae Kwon Do, running, and weight lifting.

If "exercising with the wife in the bedroom" counts as exercise, then I actually exercise six to eight times a week then.
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 3:06:54 PM EST
never

12oz curls though
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 3:09:53 PM EST
Taekwondo 2 days a week (1 - 1.5 hrs)
5 mile run 3 days a week
P90X workout when I have the time
Link Posted: 9/20/2009 3:23:45 PM EST
4 miles a day ever day no matter what. 99% of time it’s on a treadmill
3 times per week- weights
100 sit-ups every night no matter what. (Should be doing more)

Dropped 30 lbs pretty easily but the spare tire is taking more time.
Gaining muscle mass, my legs are toning up nicely, and pants are still getting looser.
