They got off easy.  Not one convicted of murder and a max sentence of 12 years for murder and a cover up.

I feel like someone without a badge goes up to a bridge and wastes 6 people...they're getting harsher sentences than that.

No justice was served here.

Get less than a decade for shooting a fleeing, unarmed man in the back from a moving vehicle.  What's not to love?

No justice, no peace, burn it down. How come BLM isnt going apeshit finally a case where police murdered some people.

So they killed two unarmed people and covered it up yet none of them was charged with murder?

Justice was clearly served.

I'm typically pretty pro LEO, but they're are some NOLA officers who should be under the jail after actions following Katrina. It was pretty much goon squads after Katrina, rouge cops and citizens getting their guns seized .

I've heard first hand accounts from very good friends whome I trust. There were things that happened in the wake of Katrina that most people would not believe.

Eta: These guys just happened to fuck up and got caught.

"Violated their civil rights" hell they fucking murdered these people then tried to cover it up. They should be serving life in general population at Angola.

The article does not come out and read "plea bargain", but phrasing such as "pleaded guilty and revived x number of years" means plea bargain.

Blame the prosecution for offering plea bargains.

People in NOLA acted like animals.

From what I've read about the incident, I think those officers decided to shoot some people for fun. It's fucked up.
