Mine was a Winchester Model 94 30-30. My good hunting buddy gave it to me. I checked the numbers and (unfortunately) it was made in 1969. (not pre 64)

But it was still a great little rifle.

Firearms and alcohol are pretty much the only two things I get as gifts.

Last gun gift I got was a Savage 112 in .25-06, with a heavy fluted barrell, all stainless.  With synthetic stock.  Also came with Zeiss optics on it.

I got couple from my wife.

She got me the ar15.com 2001 LEGP rifle for my B-day... I was totally surprised

A year later she got me the ar15.com  2002 LEGP for B-day... again I was totally surprised

In 2004 she got me a Browning Hi-Power for my B-day.  I was drooling over it at the gun shop/range when I walked in.  While I was out at the range shooting she came out to the store and paid for it.  When we finished and came out of the range to the shop owner asked me to fillout the "yellow sheet" for the Hi-Power.

I got my wife couple guns in past too... Colt Combat Commander in 9mm, Ruger SP101, S&W 422, Walther P22 and a Ruger 10/22.

I have been given a 10/22 a 12 gauge BPS, a Super Black Eagle, a Winchester Model 12 20 Gauge, and a Ruger Mark M77 Mark 2  22-250, as birthday, confirmation, and graduation gifts over the years.

Some time in the future, hopefully later than sooner, Dad is going to give me has collection of 20+ guns, including 10 Weatherby rifles.

I guess I have been very lucky to have grown up in a gun loving family.

- My first gun was a"hand-me-down"  Remington 550-1, given to me by my Grandmother (Dad's Mom) when I was 8 yrs old. Still have it.

- Was given a 10/22 about 12~13 yrs ago, from I guy I knew who got a felony DUI / Assaulting a leo conviction. Don't know him anymore.

-Inherited a Winchester '94 30-30 ('49) when my Grandfather (Mom's Dad) died. He bought it right after getting home from serving in the Pacific War.

12 gauge shotgun from my uncle.  Too bad I was about 12 and the thing turned me off of shooting for a few years.  I liked shooting it but it beat the living shit out of me every time I shot... now I'm less of a pussy.

Remington 700BDL in .308 one Christmas Eve night as a teenager.  We lived out in the sticks, so we propped it up on the kitchen table, opened the sliding door to the backyard (way too cold to go outside) and let fly with three rounds.  Had to quit when mom came unglued.  What a killjoy.
