This one is incredible. It uses a heads up
display, not a tube, for minimal obstruction
of your  field of view. VERY fast target
acquisition, comparable to much more expensive
sights.  It's constructed of metal and glass,
VERY rugged. Nine level LED switch for all
possible conditions.
Instead of a dot, it projects a Red Chevron ^
reticule, even easier to see than the usual dot.
It runs on 2 AA batteries for long life and
easy replacement. Built like a tank.
3/8" rail  mount only. Most closely resembles
the American made C-More which cost
over $300 and is made of plastic. Limited
quantities. When this lot is gone there
will be no more.

Russian reflex ^ sight $85+ $3 ship
Priority mail Prepaid w/Cashiers Check or
Money order  Sorry, no personal checks

"3/8 rail mount only" = good for your cheap .22 rifle or paintball gun.

If you are looking for a serious sight, I'd look elsewhere. IIRC, www.cdnninvestments.com has the Russian Kobra with a Picatinny mount available for around $130.00.

I thought about one for a marlin model 60 for the kid. I like the idea of the AA batterys a little heavier than lithium but still cool.

I imagine that sight would be fine for a Marlin .22 plinker. I assumed [:I] you were thinking about one for a serious rifle!
