On the interweb?
I've said and posted some profound shit in the past on social media. I've since nuked all accounts, we are a FB free home now since May. Any of you guys secret internet stars? Ever seen any of your original thoughts posted elsewhere? Been quoted elsewhere? |
Shit I've posted anonymously got screencapped and posted and got like 600,000 views. Does that count?
I've had multiple threads on the front page of Reddit, thanks to a few video game subreddits.
No and wouldn't want to.
ETA: one of my videos on YouTube has 1100 views and I feel like a celebrity for it. |
No and I don't expect that would happen. I am too old and boring for such things...it's cool.

There is a photo of an AK under folder with four mags taped together looking like a ninja star with masking tape leaning against a wall. That's as close as I've every come, and that photo still pops up almost ten years later randomly.

I was a brief YouTube star for an arrest I made. Consider this a tease because I am not sharing it as it would lead to my real name and department.

Being quoted in a few people's Sig Lines here on Arfcom is about as far as I've come. Not exactly famous. |

Video I did on the Hearing Protection Act is doing pretty well in a short period of time. But it's a limited audience.

I had a video of the blue rhino propane plant explosion shown on good morning America
My wife and I did one of those voice over apps for the Titanic scene where Jack was drawing and it ended up getting just over a half million views lol. Sad part was it wasn't even funny. That's the closest I've gotten.
Most views I've ever gotten was a video I made almost 8 years ago. Currently has 263,451 views.
My buddy and I make snap chats about doing funny shit when drunk.
"Hey man, seen my new rifle?" *opens safe, full of beer* They usually just go around our unit, couple quick LOLs, and it's gone. |
No not really. I had a YouTube video get like 1.5 million hits over the course of a year or two. at the time I had about 100 videos and I never understood why 95 percent of all my views were that video.

get on any political FB page with thousands of readers/followers and comment on their post with a message that relates to most of the visitors. 300+ likes by the end of the day.
That said, I've reached front page on Imgur with some anti-liberal content. Don't visit that site anymore though. Too infected with socialists. |

I was featured on a popular TV network's FB page. We shot a "live show" in my studio and got 50k likes during the broadcast.

Back when the Doom 3 Alpha leaked, I was one of the first to get it and post up screenshots and other info about it. Needless to say that the response was insane and id definitely wasn't happy

Some scout took the rights to a video I made and it went all over, was an article on the daily mail in the UK that triggered people. Then "fatherly" FB page stole it and edited it shorted, got well over 100k views from them. Then the company I have the rights to tracked them down and I got about $50 from them. Made $280 total

My phone call to the ATF over my post 86 form 1 mg approval got about 10,000 views on youtube. That's as close as I've come.

Rand Paul came to an Arfcom home town shoot in '10, no media, he shot a bit and took some pics-I posted a lot of them here---they've been copied a thousand times over
I also posted this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CDs7Z32Q4hs Steve Colbert used it for a hit piece on Rand a couple years later. My Vortex Sparc review has 100k+ hits (vortex industry page) That's the best I got |
