Bottled for Frontier Airlines...I think that makes them worth what you paid for them since Frontier has only been around since '94

I bought them because they are Portugese, like me. Not for any other reason, just curious when they were from and if they were worth more than the .50 I paid for them.
No they aren't empty. The bottles say they are the same, but one looks white and the other a dark red. They both have things floating in them, I'm guessing pieces of the cork. |

Most of what was there was really expensive. Dolls for $900! That was just something I found sitting on the windowsill in the kitchen. There was some old army uniforms from WWI, but they weren't for sale. |

Years ago, my first wife and I would enjoy a bottle or two of Mateus with a Kensington Club steak at Steak & Ale. I loved that wine.....

Throw them up on eBay. There are some serious airline memorabilia collectors out there who would pay you a pretty penny for that. |

Every time I see a bottle of Mateus, I think of Bill Murray and Gilda Radner as Todd DiLaMuca and Lisa Loopner the SNL "Nerds". Todd was trying to "score" with Lisa by getting her tipsy by drinking "Mahtayus".
