I had this moth on my deck a couple nights ago, and can't find anything on what kind it is. I've never seen one like this before, which is what got me curious. It's about the size of a quarter, and we're about fifty miles SW of St. Louis, Mo.

There are directions for identifying moths on the inside label of Elmer Glue bottles. Don't lose those directions.
