Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Employee policy and procedures

So how many of you guys work someplace that uses employee policy and procedures for taking care of business on a day to day basis? I work for the state and the department I work in has no policies or procedures to handle anything. It’s just made up as they go along to suit their needs. Which means most everyone else gets screwed.

We have plenty of POP here.   If I come across a situation where now SOP exists, then a I'll create one.
