Electronic skin tattoo has medical, gaming, spy uses
Aug 11 03:43 PM US/Eastern A hair-thin electronic patch that adheres to the skin like a temporary tattoo could transform medical sensing, computer gaming and even spy operations, according to a US study published Thursday. The micro-electronics technology, called an epidermal electronic system (EES), was developed by an international team of researchers from the United States, China and Singapore, and is described in the journal Science. "It's a technology that blurs the distinction between electronics and biology," said co-author John Rogers, a professor in materials science and engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. "Our goal was to develop an electronic technology that could integrate with the skin in a way that is mechanically and physiologically invisible to the user." Link |

They glue a fucking integrated circuit to somebody. This appears to be a solution to a non-existent problem. Seriously, what exactly does this accomplish. |

You guys need to drop your old-fashioned opposition to technology.
Imagine the security and safety we would gain by having monetary transactions take place via implanted circuitry. We need to be pushing for a cashless society NOW! |
|
Right! I mean WTF are you talking about? You remove cash and you'll remove all freedom you enjoy now. "I'm sorry but that purchase is not on the allowed taxable item registry"

FUCK NO!!!!!
Mark of the Beast, 666 and the ability to take all your cash and ability to buy food and necessities with a keystroke. With this there would be no way to hide your wealth, and would be useless as you couldnt buy anything Free Quoted:

Kinda reminds me of a friend who got a barcode tattoo on his forearm. The artist copied a barcode off a Dr. Pepper. And the tattoo actually works at the grocery store, ha!

Jeez, what are you guys so afraid of?
The moment they can make actual electronic tattoos, I am getting myself a wristwatch. That is, a watch printed on my wrist. How cool would that be? |

Umm no! Mark of the beast and all that. Reminds me of the movie Idiocracy, that we are all living in right now. "Why you have no tattoo? Are you un scanable?"
|

I rather somebody just steal my ATM card instead of sawing my arm off

"He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor,
free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” |

The first thought I had was an IFF transponder This could be useful. |

It's coming.
We're nearly cashless now, how much do you really use anonymous cash instead of the convenience of the debit card? It's for the children, it's safer than cash, you can keep your entire life's medical history, criminal records, blood pressure readings, plus it's Sooooo convenient. No more struggling to count out your money, no need to balance your bank account. They been chipping pets for years. We'll all get one soon enough. 1) Just the right economic collapse, 2) Bio computer tech in place 3) Render all cash useless, 4) NWO credits issued to all subjects. = Win for the tyrants. |

The over-reaction here is laughable.
It's a fucking sticker with some circuitry in it. It's not even permanent. |

Thrice shall GROID come. Thrice, on wings of fire, and three shall be the number of the coming. It shall be the fear of fecal running for those who behold him in public - as well as private - areas, particularly around tea time. The Serpent of the East shall cast his jewels upon the bloodstained hallways of the Usurper and the Day of Becoming will be at hand, whereupon everyone under the age of 40, especially them, will become acutely embarrassed by trivialities, matters of no consequence... Hark! This will be the sign that the return of THE MASTER is imminent, whereupon he shall deliver the 11th Revelation and battle GROID for supremacy of the multiverse!" |
