I'd be interested to see this on Monday!

It's too soon to reflect the President's convention bounce yet.

And if I recall correctly, the media was predicting a neck-n-neck race between Bush I and Dukakis. We all know how that one turned out!

They clearly don't always vote democrat... THEY VOTED FOR REAGAN!

Well then substitute Wisconsin with Minnesota.

Crap, look at Colorado.  NM, AZ, NV and CO used to be Republican bastions.

The whole southwest is going to be blue in a few years.  Republican support of uncontrolled immigration is political suicide.

That was 20 years ago....that is like saying California is in play because they voted for Reagan....

No way WI votes for W....they are cheese eating socialists

California... get behind that gun grabbing governor and deliver me Cali!

It would be extremely hard for Kali-fornia to go Bush barring any large scale push by Arnie, because we have a 60/30 Dem/Republican percentage registered voters. Most of those stupid sheeple just go down  their ballots and voting for any Dem candidate. Persnally for me, I'm seriously thinking of writing in Ralph Nader just for the heck of it, why waste a vote, I can at least needle the dems a bit.

I certainly hope NV goes for Bush.  I'm afraid that the exodus from the PRK has doomed much of this state into becoming an eastern extension of California in the not too distant future.  Las Vegas is the population center of mass.  Whatever Vegas does will drag the rest of the state with it.  It's up to you Clark County guys.

Is VA now in contention?

If so, I'm going to have to start using strong language...

We'll hold on to Arizona for you.

But if we don't lock down the border over the next 4 years, 2008 could be a problem.

Yeah, when did that happen? Are they calling that based on our election of Warner? If so, they need to check the balance of power in the state general assembly. Only Charlottesville,Richmond and Fairfax/Alexandria and parts of Norfolk will actually vote for Kerry. Most of Tidewater and all of rural VA always swings right.
