Midwest Coast joe!!!!!! .....what I live 5 minutes from the Lake...Michigan

Really depends on what you're looking for. If it weren't for the screw gun laws and the astronomical cost housing I'd be on the West Coast in a heartbeat. LA has an entertainment culture and other aspects of culture that really can't be beat. +75 in December is really awesome too.
However I really enjoyed the architecture and old Southern charm of Savannah, Georgia. |

More of a North Coaster here. North-central coaster actually... with a bit of east-west coasting in there. |
|
After moving to Idaho I can say for certain I'm more east coast. Moving to Florida in the near future.

From the West Coast.
The East Coast has the major battlefields and museums. It also has the National Archives, Library of Congress, US Patent Office, etc. I live in the Midwest. Fewer people. Not as far left as either coast. |
|
Lived on both ends, currently on east. Living the rural life now, can shoot anytime I want on my property, can OC wherever around me, pennsyltucky at its finest. Far enough away from people/things to be left alone, but not too far I can't find one of seven walmarts within a 30 minute drive and driving 1-2 hours in any direction I can hit any of the major NE major cities like Philly, New York, Balt, Pitt (3 hours), so the variety is there if I want to find it.

Being from the east coast, living in the west coast...east coast is the winner. Damn liberals everywhere on the west coast.
|
|
West coast, just as shitty as the east coast but at least the weather is nice.

Born and raised in SoCal. The west will always be home.
That said I've been to the gulf and the keys several times and would not pass up an opportunity to live in south Florida. |
|
East coast. S.C. through the Florida Keys, and Cape Cod north to Canada. I don't recall meeting anyone in So. Cal that wasn't a flaming asshole. Same goes for the Mid Atlantic. My favorite coastal area is the border area of S.C. and Georgia. Love the salt marshes, and the Spanish moss.

Where I'm at I have double the shore line with have the bullshit.

I'm an east coaster, born and bred. Born in New Jersey, lived in New York, Maryland, D.C. and Virginia.
I love that part of the country and really miss it but the politics out there have just gone off the deep end. Doubt I'll ever go back. |
|
Are we talking music?
If so I love both, but I am from CA so West Coast of course.
|
|
West, straight up
ETA: We are discussing rap music, are we not? |

Grew up in CA, and I live less than 3 hours from America's finest city so take a guess.
