I was talking to a guy in my unit who was ETS'ing and it was his last drill.  We were discussing health insurance options for after ETS and loosing Tricare.  He mentioned there was some kind of transition insurance available for Vets and their families like Tricare but at higher premiums and higher co-pays.  Anybody know what insurance that is, google is no help.

Cobra?

I planned it out in advance. Had 30 days of terminal leave. Started my new job on day 31, which came with insurance. So there was no gap.
