Not long ago, we had a thread here in GD about 'almost was' bands (or something like that).
Good bands that never hit it big, in other words. DT was never really 'mainstream' for reasons I cannot fathom. The virtuoso musicianship of Dream Theater still melts my face off, going on thirty years later

If you guys are into these incredible lady drummers, there is a little Japanese jazz drummer that is utterly incredible. Her name is Kanade Sato.
