Do a websearch for YouTube Downloader...it will download the vid to a .flv file, then you can convert using the same program to a variety of file types...

get one called videoget all you do is put in the URL for the video, youtube.com/83461ydjh etc.. and it downloads it into wmv format

KeepVid, web interface. No need to install software.
However... you will need an FLV player to watch the videos you saved. |

I would HIGHLY recommend that if you don't already have Firefox 3.0 installed...DO IT.
Then, install this addon through Firefox: Video DownloadHelper |
