Hope this isn't a dupe.
I feel like I'm a pretty tolerant person, but I'm done with the whole former Gawker media group. I'm not going to link to the article, but they've started a division who's sole purpose is to undermine the Presidency. Yes, I know that they've always been a very liberal arm of an already liberal media, but now they are pushing their radical liberal agenda upon the readership across all of their publishing platforms. I mean, all I wanted was a place to read about tech, automotive, and gaming related news, but it's all been so infected with their political trash that I'm just done. I don't know if any of you feel the same, or maybe a lot of you have already made this decision, but I'll be taking my views elsewhere. And if anyone decides to start an unbiased media group where I can read about tech and cars, let me know. |

+1
I stopped giving them pageviews a few weeks ago. I've found a few different alernate sites and don't miss them at all. |
I only followed Jalopnik due to my love of vehicles but I made that same choice to no longer view that site due about a month ago dur to all the political BS (on a damn car blog, wtf).
I can't even look at the MSM anymore. Tonight we had Jeopardy on at that time.
Is FoxtrotAlpha still up? That was the only worthwhile site of that pile of dogshit.

Hell I wish I could kill msnbc cnn HN vh1 cnbc mtv and about 90% of the rest of my cable channels.

Keep them around on FB for the meme war. Dropping red pills in the comments will lead us to victory.
I used to religiously read Kotaku, Gizmodo and IO9, but the liberal creep overtook them and I quit reading them about two or three years ago.
Lol, have you been on engadget? I have some screenshots of an,interesting comment battle between the author of an article, a moderator, and what I guess was clearly a Republican calling them out on there BS.

Daily comments on all those platforms make me think there is no hope for mankind...

Welcome to the party, pal.
Every one of those sites have been like that for years and you'll find there are many better forums out there than the libtard echo chamber. |
I've tried to quit deadspin before, but have been unsuccessful. Somebody point me to a good sports blog.

It has definitely gotten bad this election cycle. Ever since Gawker got their butt handed to them, they have been extremely left wing. I have a few of the blod that I read every day (Kotaku, io9) but it gets harder and harder.
Lol, I'd welcome you to the party pal, but we're just about cleaned up.

I decided the same thing with Ars Technica. It really sucks because I'm a geek and I was on the site when it was founded. But since Conde Naste took over (its recruitment director comes courtesy of a Soros org), Ars Technica has added an entire "lefty" slate of reporters and articles and implemented the "swarm rating" system that hides comments of anyone that gets shouted down by the herd of leftists.
I'm not the only old school member that's noticed ... it used to be very much a libertarian type of site. But yeah, they don't get clicks from me anymore. |

I'm not willing to tolerate articles on io9 and Gizmodo, sci-fi and gadget/tech sites respectively, going outside their lanes to lambast a lawfully elected president. It has zero to do with their stated purpose for existing. Shit sites like Jezebel? Sure. I expect it. |

Frankly, I tired of trying to get legit sports journalism only to have a political spin added when the piece didn't call for it. Almost like they have a daily Republican bashing quota that must be met. I checked back there a few days after the Super Bowl and that reaffirmed my decision. Fuck Deadspin. |
I got to that point yesterday for the same exact reason.
I even posted about it but no one replied Sucks because like you said, I just want to go somewhere for automotive, tech news etc but that doesn't exist anymore. Arfcom has become the only website I visit. |
Yep, I quit going to those websites as well. I used to check Jalopnik and Gizmodo daily but haven't in several weeks now. May the F be upon them

View Quote I don't want any side, just concentrate on the subject (cars, tech, etc.) We have truly passed into the realm of madness if one must chose either a right leaning or left leaning fucking car blog. |

Agreed OP, jalopnik was one of my favorite sites, as was foxtrotalpha before the main editor left for defense review.
Their rabid hatred of Trump is to the level of petty bullshit(70% of what the media reports on him falls into that). |
So, they're starting a "tell on trump" hotline and reporting system.
Amazing. WTF is up with these hotlines and CTR bullshit? I gave up on reading the jalopnik front page and mainly stick to oppositelock. I am thankful Tyler Rogoway is behind The War Zone. |
I gave up those sites about a year ago, the none stop liberal bullshit was finally too much. You could no longer have an article about cars, sci fi, games etc with it being political.
Everyone has lost their fucking minds |
Tech Crunch is another outlet that pushes a political agenda. Uninstalled their app last week. All I want is tech related articles. It's a simple concept but liberals just cannot stick with it. The thread that equated liberalism to Scientology nailed it.
Jalopnick pretty much just been pushing little self-driving electric green golf carts and urban mass transit for a while now. Not exactly the voice of motoring purism.
Pretty shitty car blog as far as car blogs go. |
I stopped reading Jalopnik before the election, I couldn't stand trying to read about cars with Trump bashing mixed in
What alternative sites are there. I like thedrive, what about gaming and tech that aren't leftist shitholes
It sucks. I loved gizmodo for the same reason, I went there for updates on the tech world... now for some reason they seem to have more political articles than tech related ones. I head more toward arstechnica now but it seems like they are starting to have bull shit articles in there as well.

I've tried to quit deadspin before, but have been unsuccessful. Somebody point me to a good sports blog. And Magary is hilarious even though he's a libtard. The stuff he writes on Deadspin isn't political 95% of the time. I probably check the site once a week though as opposed to daily in the past, and I recently unpolluted Jalopnik on FB because they wouldn't stop cross posting left wing nonsense from the sister sites despite getting killed in their own comment section for it. |
