After all, it's from Pete's Pistol Range.  How could you not trust a name like that?  And it comes with lots of "clips" too!

Me and Pete go waaaay back, he's a good dude. We were in the Corps together, back when we were fighting Cobra and his minions.

If you want someone to vouch for this deal, then I'm your man. Pete would never do ya wrong, he's a man of Vizion.

I wonder if he'd get pissed if I sent him a fake check for a fake gun?

Hey, ATF guys get bored too.

"Hey, Jim. Look at this one I made up."
"Haha! Good one."
"I got $10 says somebody bites."
"You're on."

That may be a trap, but this one definatly is:

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=36237015

CZ26 parts kit and 50% receiver

Like new condition CZ26 parts kit that includes 4 magazines and all parts. The kit is demilled to ATF guidelines and is considered a non-firearm. The sale also includes a 50% receiver tube, which is the proper material and size. This kit can only be built into a working firearm by a properly licensed individual (class II manufacturer) or a non-working display if the proper ATF guidelines are followed. ALL NFA RULES APPLY
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Having both the complete FA parts kit and reciver tube is considered by the ATF to be Intent to build

Not if seller is Class III manufacturer, and the buyer is too.

But, you're probably right and he's illegal as hell.

Neither the parts kit or 50% receiver tubes are regulated in any way.  The price of these types of things is going to go way up now the the ATF is no longer allowing importation of military style firearms parts.

It's not when you buy some of them, it's when you collect them all.

This is off the Yugo m-56 semi-conversion page:

Legal issues:

It is inadvisable to make any effort to restore this weapon to full automatic or even have the parts in your possession that could be used for that purpose since that could and will be construed as intent to build such a proscribed weapon.  You could and will, if caught, be prosecuted and have your right to own weapons eliminated permanently as well as being exposed to substantial monetary penalties and possible incarceration.  DON’T EVEN ATTEMPT TO DO IT.  IT CANNOT BE ACCOMPLISHED BY A PRIVATE CITIZEN LEGALLY.

Another consideration is your state and local laws.  This narrative only discusses federal laws pertaining to the conversion of these weapons.  It does not address specific state laws and some states have specific prohibitions which may make the conversion of this weapon illegal under the laws of that state because of weapons bans, magazine size and other.  If you live in California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York and other states, they have very restrictive laws with respect to most weapons and the ownership of weapons.  Some localities also have restrictions.  For example, in spite of a state law in Colorado which requires all jurisdictions to follow state laws with respect to weapons, the city of Denver has laws directly in conflict with those laws and has challenged the state.  No determination has been made on the validity of that challenge but the net effect is that Denver County has laws which are much more restrictive than in Colorado generally.  Therefore, you must familiarize yourself with state and local laws pertaining to weapons and their ownership.

The BATF has a publication, ATF P 5300-5 State Laws and Published Ordinance – Firearms  which will assist you in determining what you can do in your own state or locality but that publication is not totally definitive so you must check your local state laws and local ordinances of the city or county in which you live and reside.

You cannot purchase or own a weapon unless the receiver has been cut per BATF specifications.  For this reason, always make certain the cut receiver is not done in a manner to destroy some important part such as a magazine well or trunnion or even a barrel.  Fortunately, most of the M 56 kits now available are cut in a manner that makes them usable.

Never, ever trust a man who used Pistol and Pete in the same sentence. It's always a trap.

No Photo!

Anyone who buys his AR15, but it's full auto, deserves to get into trouble.  What a scam.
