I almost fell out of my chair today when I heard a report about this "Recently Returned Marine arrested." at work.  I was his NCOIC in my armory before I got out in 2001.  He was an outstanding Marine then, and apparently still is.  I certainly hope that his service is taken into account.  Lawrence is a shithole.  Illegals are everywhere.  Note the name of the club.

I'm going to write his family.  Hopefully the courts don't hang him out to dry.  If you have any friends coming back from the sandbox, offer them support, an understanding listener, and if they seem "off", encourage them to get help.

Here In Charlotte, NC we've had two cases in the last two weeks of illegals DUI either killing or maiming people.  One guy had 5 prior convictions, and no deportation.
