She likes her Glock 17 and I carry a 19.

Went out today and it was hot as hell. I was sweating like a fat guy at a gun show.

How do women keep their makeup and stuff on when it's hot and humid as can be out there? I didn't care how well I shot, I was just wondering how their face paint stays on in this hot weather on the way home...

Yes, and she's a natural.

Really wants an AK-47.

Mrs CatSnipah goes with me on almost every trip.

She did. I taught her to shoot. She loved shooting the GP100.

shes indifferent. She'll go with me but isn't itching to go.

The misses loves all clay games and .22's. Doesn't seem to care much about anything else firearms-related.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 8:31:02 PM EDT
No...absolutely not.

Yes, if it's not too hot outside.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 8:34:20 PM EDT
No, not really.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 8:34:21 PM EDT
My wife loves to shoot handguns but not rifles or shotguns.

Not really. Every once in a while. She's claimed the Ruger Single Six and Mark III 22/45 Lite as hers though.

same here. she'll talk about how she wants a specific gun (Sig P239) but doesn't want anyone to buy it. she'll go with me but she doesn't really enjoy it.

No. Mine is pretty afraid of guns. She's gotten used to mine, might even pick one up to dust around or clean, but that's as far as it goes.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 8:52:36 PM EDT
Well, the "range" starts in front of my garage and in the yard. When I'm shooting she's usually around here somewhere, so, yeh, sorta she's at the range w me??
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 8:58:12 PM EDT
sometimes

Last SO was a gun salesman--shot FA all the time. The one before that...he and I went shooting all the time where he lived.

As for the makeup, some of the newer ones have waterproof tendencies. My SPF 50 is tinted and is waterproof and must be removed with soap. I top it with a mineral based powder foundation. It stays pretty sweat proof. I cut the grass in full makeup last week when the heat index was near 110.

Yes.

My Beloved goes shooting VERY rarely, usually when there will be other women going.

The thing is, she shoots pretty dern well, she just doesn't have any interest in recreational shooting.

I'm resigned to it.

Yes she does. Despite being a career USAF pilot's daughter, she had no exposure to shooting whatsoever. She took to it immediately.

She is in love with my Marlin 60.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:08:32 PM EDT
She stole my archangel converted 10/22. She hates my glocks. Will shoot 38's out of the 357's though.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:13:20 PM EDT
Wife of 28 years loves it.

Hates glocks.

Loves airweights.

Loved her SW M39 but sold it to her frustration ever since.

She likes pistols more then long guns.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:13:58 PM EDT
No. She finds it boring.

My FIL is a gun guy and my wife was shooting his AR when she was a kid back in the mid-late 80's.....So....yep every chance she has, she comes to the range with me!
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:23:34 PM EDT
Yes. She likes it. Getting her first CCW very soon. She chose a Walther P99C in 9mm.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:24:50 PM EDT
Yes very much so. She has her own G19 and carries a G26, I am working on building her own AR.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:27:37 PM EDT
Yes
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:30:18 PM EDT
Absolutely ! I love it !

I am a better shot though.......
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:31:30 PM EDT
No. She has been a couple of times and shot a 22 pistol well, but has not asked to go again. This is fine, we do plenty of other stuff together. It is nice to have our own things to do though.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:35:41 PM EDT
Yes. Especially the suppressed AR15 SBR in.22 LR.

I go out shooting with my hubby on a regular basis down here in the Georgia heat. Never had a problem with my make up sweating off, but then again I don't wear much and my eyelids don't get very sweaty.

My wife went from

Me: "would you like to shoot it?",

her: "nah"

to a Shoot Boss in Appleseed within about two years!

Last time we went shooting (couple weeks ago), it was because she was begging to.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:38:50 PM EDT
My wife is starting to get into it but is very recoil shy. .22s and PCCs are all she will shoot so far.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:40:45 PM EDT
She LOVES to go out and shoot. She adopted one of my Dan Wesson 1911's, loves the FA stuff, and has her own bolt action I built her. I get such a kick out of watching her squeal with joy when she does a mag dump out of the Krink or one of the 16's.

Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:41:43 PM EDT
Yep loves shooting AR's
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:41:50 PM EDT
No. She has no interest in guns. She was not raised in a family where anyone had a gun or hunted.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:42:08 PM EDT
Mine does.

Some date nights we go shooting at the indoor range.

My wife loves to shoot and comes to the range with me at least once a week; we went shooting today in fact.

I try to get to the range 2-3 times every week.

ETA: She's pissed because I haven't bought myself a new gun since last November.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:43:44 PM EDT
Yeah, my GF came with her own AR, pistol and shotgun. And it's her grandfather's farm where we go shooting.
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:51:27 PM EDT
No
Link Posted: 6/29/2015 9:53:33 PM EDT
Duh, thats why I married her.
