She likes her Glock 17 and I carry a 19.

Went out today and it was hot as hell. I was sweating like a fat guy at a gun show.

How do women keep their makeup and stuff on when it's hot and humid as can be out there? I didn't care how well I shot, I was just wondering how their face paint stays on in this hot weather on the way home...

same here. she'll talk about how she wants a specific gun (Sig P239) but doesn't want anyone to buy it. she'll go with me but she doesn't really enjoy it.

No. Mine is pretty afraid of guns. She's gotten used to mine, might even pick one up to dust around or clean, but that's as far as it goes.

Well, the "range" starts in front of my garage and in the yard. When I'm shooting she's usually around here somewhere, so, yeh, sorta she's at the range w me??

Last SO was a gun salesman--shot FA all the time. The one before that...he and I went shooting all the time where he lived.

As for the makeup, some of the newer ones have waterproof tendencies. My SPF 50 is tinted and is waterproof and must be removed with soap. I top it with a mineral based powder foundation. It stays pretty sweat proof. I cut the grass in full makeup last week when the heat index was near 110.

My Beloved goes shooting VERY rarely, usually when there will be other women going.

The thing is, she shoots pretty dern well, she just doesn't have any interest in recreational shooting.

I'm resigned to it.

Yes she does. Despite being a career USAF pilot's daughter, she had no exposure to shooting whatsoever. She took to it immediately.

Wife of 28 years loves it.

Hates glocks.

Loves airweights.

Loved her SW M39 but sold it to her frustration ever since.

She likes pistols more then long guns.

My FIL is a gun guy and my wife was shooting his AR when she was a kid back in the mid-late 80's.....So....yep every chance she has, she comes to the range with me!

No. She has been a couple of times and shot a 22 pistol well, but has not asked to go again. This is fine, we do plenty of other stuff together. It is nice to have our own things to do though.

I go out shooting with my hubby on a regular basis down here in the Georgia heat. Never had a problem with my make up sweating off, but then again I don't wear much and my eyelids don't get very sweaty.

Last time we went shooting (couple weeks ago), it was because she was begging to.

She LOVES to go out and shoot. She adopted one of my Dan Wesson 1911's, loves the FA stuff, and has her own bolt action I built her. I get such a kick out of watching her squeal with joy when she does a mag dump out of the Krink or one of the 16's.

My wife loves to shoot and comes to the range with me at least once a week; we went shooting today in fact.

I try to get to the range 2-3 times every week.

ETA: She's pissed because I haven't bought myself a new gun since last November.
