I agree. It's yet another thing that degrades the integrity of the American way.

Whenever I see people with those, I get the overwhelming urge to run them off the road.

I don't even need to click the link. Those are so stupid it is not even funny. I will leave those to the morons.

I guess they're cool if you are 22 years old and have the maturity of an 8 year old.

Had a Marine buddy who put them on his truck. Yes, he fit your description.
Link Posted: 1/24/2006 10:49:31 AM EST
The only "ball" my truck has is the one one it's class III hitch. I see all kinds of idiots driving around Scottsdale/Tempe/Mesa with those thinks on their quad-cab, diesel 4X4s with 38" tires.....all of which I hazard to guess have seen about as much offroad activity as my mother-in-law's Murano.

I was puzzled when I saw them for the first time. The only thing I could think of to explain what they are they must be HOMO magnets or some type of man on man sex thing.
Link Posted: 1/24/2006 10:57:45 AM EST
Friend of mine got thos for his truck. We all thought they were funny. A week later he took them off and we all forgot about them. Yep, we were stupid kids at the time.
Link Posted: 1/24/2006 10:59:45 AM EST
Thought they were stupid the first time I saw them about 15 years ago. My opinion has not changed.

+1 to the "22 with 8 y.o. maturity" and "run them off the road" comments

That has about as much class as a Dad hauling his kids around in his pick up truck with a sticker of Calvin pissing on the words "Ex-Wife"...or any other Calvin type of sticker.

I would expect to see auto part's in a front yard and a wire spool for a patio set with an owner of a pair of those.

Link Posted: 1/24/2006 11:18:28 AM EST
Thats for pick up truck drivers who need to compensate for their own personal shortcoming...

At least a couple times a week. Winchester VA has more than its fair share of morons.
Link Posted: 1/24/2006 11:29:09 AM EST
Nope.

I don't let mine swing around like that in public. It's rude.

Totally ghey. Next people will be putting peckers on the front and rear-ending people.

Yes, about 400hp. I dont need plastic balls hanging below my truck's bumper. When my turbo spools up and starts shreiking, it gets attention.... Not to mention my loud wastegate and BOV.
Link Posted: 1/24/2006 12:08:56 PM EST
If you gotta advertise that you got some balls, then there's something very, very wrong.

I don't need to show it off,

I've got me a honda Cr-V

With 2.0 liters of fuel injected madness,

4 cylinders of raw horsepower.

5 speed of doom!!!

my truck goes from 0-60 in 23 seconds, (providing i have enoguh space to merge)
Link Posted: 1/24/2006 12:10:46 PM EST
That is just plain stupid.

To top it all off they look like old man balls, all saggy and droopy. The guy that made these must hang low.

If you look on the dash, those people have those GADAR detector units as well.
Link Posted: 1/24/2006 12:46:57 PM EST
This is the first time I have ever seen or heard of that particular stupid accessory.

And I thought there were some no class morons living in this part of the country. I guess not.

Those can be fun one someone else's truck. Say, hypothetically, that a guy living in one's apartment complex had those hanging on his blue/rust 1998 Nissan . One could, hypothetically, go out in the wee hours of the morning and paint them bright blue. Then, a few days later, one could hypothetically go out in the wee hours and paint them a sickly gangrenous green. Then, a few days later, one could hypothetically paint them black. And finally, in the dead of night, one could hypothetically go out with a propane torch and melt them off, giving the appearance that they finally rotted away.

Hypothetically.

Saw a pair of blue ones Sunday.

On a Ford Ranger.

I was impressed.
