I have a friend who firmly believes in the pain med/beer combo.  He claims it saves him money.  You don't have to drink as many beers to get the drunken state he desires.  Only problem is convincing the doctor he really needs them. [whacko]  I think his doctor has caught on, because he switched his prescription to a non-narcotic med.

Unless you want a 12 hour pukefest, DO NOT TAKE MOTRIN AND BEER!

About 2 months ago i had one motrin at work and came home 7 hours later and had 4 beers.

I went to sleep and about 4 hours later woke up feeling sick. So I went to the bathroom and puked. And puked, and puked and puked, and, well you get the point!

I had to call out of work the next day cuz I was still queasy!

Don't mix motrin and beer!

You can seperate the toxic acetominaphin from the sweet, sweet oxycodone by crushing the tablets into power and dissolving them into water cold/tepid water. Shake it up.

The opiates are very water soluble, but the aspirin isn't, and settles to the bottom of the container.

Good beer or good drugs, but not both.

Then again, you might wake up and find Jetsons style cars flying outside your hospital window, that your 401k is worth $19,640,300.50 and that the second Olsen twin has been elected president because you've been in a coma for 35 years!

Hmmm!

Ok, I'm highly suspicious of ANYONE who knows too much about cold water APAP extraction!

;)

Not me, knowledge is power, and power can be abused in all forms or used appropriately, thanks for the info Raven, don't know how I would ever use it but you never know.

You sure it wasn't something else?  Motrin is what you're supposed to take when drinking.  I heard not to take tylenol though.

NO! Absolutely not. Continue as you have been. Everything still seems the same doesn't it?

Works for me.

Mixing alcohol and any kind of pain pill is one of the best known ways to destroy your liver. It is also the primary cause of "overdose" death from pain killers. Anyone who does it is either extremely stupid or suicidal.

Do it only if you don't want to be healthy or live much longer.
