Was hanging some slat wall this morning and thought a kydex holster for my cordless impact would be very useful. I don't like wearing tool belts

How are you going to wear Kydes without a belt?  Does it need to hang from your neck?

They make a simple hook for any belt that will hold a cordless drill.

how about a drop leg holster
or you could also do an iwb appendix carry, might print though

I've seen a "chest rig" for drills etc but can't find a pic right now.

My Milwaukee drills and impacts have a clip similar to a pocket knife's clip for hanging on your pocket.

I took mine off after my drill jumped the second time. Clip is worthless.
I have Mexican carried my little 12v Milwaukee a time or two.

This must be where I am losing you.  I have a tool belt.  The bags are not permanently attached.  I can put a drill hook on it, a tape measure holder, a hammer hook, a beer holder, a second drill hook--- whatever I want on it, even a second bag.  I can also put nothing on it.  It is still a tool belt, but it isn't much different from any other belt.  I can wear the bag on the front for parties, or on the back to hide my ass from fudge packers.

I wouldn't put any kydex on it.

If you have girly hands, put a lanyard on your drill and attach it to your thong.

I use a single point sling with my cordless drill/driver

I made a loop with some paracord that is through a hole in the base of the drill, and than I clip the SPS to the paracord.  works like a champ.

Atlas 46 is owned by the guy who founded Eagle Industries. He opened Atlas after selling Eagle to ATK.

I still use an original Bigg Lugg to hang cordless tools off my belt. When the belt clip broke about 10 years ago I mounted it to a Tek Lok and still use it. I like it because you can hang just about anything from it nail guns, whatever.
