I thought I'd give this a shot and see if anyone here speaks Arabic so they could translate a few phrases that could come in handy if I go to Iraq.
Just simple stuff like "Hands up", "drop your weapons", and basic words like "yes, no, food, water, etc..."
I figure it's a longshot, but it could be useful to others on this board also...
Thanks in advance.
If you are pointing you service weapon at 'em and they don't put up their hands, teach 'em some English.....3 ROUND BURST. [smile]
MarineGrunt: Try these. Good luck.
Of course, there's always this:
A few handy Arabic phrases translated to English -- in case you're ever kidnapped by terrorists.

Never wanted to learn a dying language
I can't think of anything that needs to be said over there anyway, except of course
