I have the manual Shift for 4x4 in my silverado, and i need to know how to take the knob off, bc im making a custom shift knob.... (Demilled hand grenade) Does anyone know how to take the 4x4 shift knob off?

A die grinder and a cut-off wheel is a sure bet.
Uh...consult the service manual? Go to a junkyard, find a similar one, and tear it up until you learn the secrets?
Try unscrewing it with the aid of a monkey wrench?
