I know this would fit better in the Armory, but GD gets MUCH more traffic.

I am considering purchasing one. I have small hands, so the smaller grip area appeals to me. I also like the dovetailed front sight, and the light rail.

Does it accept standard 92 mags? I already own a 92 with plenty of mags.

Will a 92 barrel fit? I have a threaded barrel and suppressor for my current 92, and I would like to switch it to the Vertec if possible.

Is there anything that really stood out about the function or ergonomics of this pistol?

I appreciate all FIRSTHAND experience, good or bad!

Thanks!!!

Buddy has one. All I can say is that I'm pretty sure the mags work.

I use a 96 Vertec and the standard mags work. Why wouldn't they?

I dont know about the barrels though, but I'd assume yes, although I've never seen the two side by side.

Anywho, its a great gun, with an ecellent grip and the vertical backstrap and thinner panels really make the gun great for someone who might find the fullsize a tad too big.

If the grip angle was changed even by a degree or two the old 92 mags would not fit. I was unsure if this was the case or not.

mags and barrel will both work
so will the slide and barrel and mags from a 96, so you can shoot .40 from it too
