I don't think I have seen anyone here make an argument for him, or anyone I talk to anywhere.
How is he a "front runner" if no actual voters want him, unless it's just a brokered fix? |
No, god no,
He is so lifeless we could put a doll in his place and at least be entertained. |
I'm not sure he wants it. Probably looks at it as some duty to try and rehab the family name.

All of the illegals here want him, all of the future illegals want him, Mexico wants him, the republican establishment wants him, and the
Chamber of Commerce wants him, but heck they want anyone who will give amnesty. CTM1 does not want him, in fact I would like to see him deported. |

Front runner? http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/2016_republican_presidential_nomination-3823.html View Quote He is in 3rd place on that poll. But during the debate he was ranked as #2, and according to the media pundits at the time, once "Trump drops out" Jeb was the defacto front-runner nominee. If I'm not mistaken, he is the #1 in fund-raising right now too. Again, I am really suspect of those poll numbers for hiim. |

I started this exact same thread back when he was the supposed front runner. Only got one person who offered faint support. Not sure who all these people are who the media say support him.

There isn't a situation that I would ever vote for him.
He is a spineless coward who doesn't have our nations interest in his though process. He can say "conservative" all he wants, he'll never be one. |
A year or two ago, many writers doing the standard "interview with anonymous beltway gang member #3214" said that Bush, along with Hillary, were the favored bipartisan establishment choices. That's why.
If I am forced, I will support the Party. That will be the only way.

View Quote Making that argument here in AR-15.com GD is little different than the famous quote attributed to Pauline Kael of New Yorker Magazine when she said, "How could Nixon have won? Nobody I know voted for him"; referring to George McGovern's loss to Richard Nixon in in the 1972 presidential election. I doubt you'll run into many Bush supporters around these parts but plenty are out there in the real world. |
If the choice is Hillary or Jeb, I'd vote for Jeb, but I'd vote for almost any other Repub over Jeb, he is a last resort only.
I didn't care all that much for GW Bush. Jeb? Even less appealing.
My parents like him. They're in their early 60's, upper-middle class, country club memberships, identify as conservative but largely unpolitical. I think his target demo is conservatives who don't care about any specific issues and just want their lifestyle maintained.
Not if he was the only person running would I vote for him.

10 Jeb Bush guys at this point, funny how you don't hear from them in any of the threads.
The GOPe social media gang at work. |
If Jeb wins it will serve as proof that we the people no longer choosing our leaders and the system
is rigged. It is already plain as day, the powers that be are desperately trying make Jeb be the front runner. It was so obvious Fox News was trying give Jeb the win in the debate. Let's watch how the GOP changes the rules specifically trying eliminate Trump from being on the ballot in some states If the GOP wants to force their choice upon me, fuck em all. |

It was funny him calling Trump," not a conservative" in espanol.
Trump may have some flaws but on a scale he seems more conservative than most. |
I swear on my tinfoil hat that they plaster the most drab conservative on the MSM so low info voters think that they actually are a front runner.
Then that's the only name they recognize on the ballot. Boom then we got their best vs. our worst. ETA: no to Jeb, yes to Cruz or Trump/Cruz |

Hillary vs Jeb..I vote Jeb, only because it will only slow down this countries circling of the drain, where as Hillary already has the plunger out to remove any obstructions that may be in the way of final throws of death

View Quote He doesn't really seem all that conservative to me at all. Bush saying he's not a conservative is kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. Trump strikes me as someone with a poorly developed political ideology who lands somewhat Left-of-Centre but is adept in engaging in the sort of demagoguery needed to appeal to the Republican masses. |

In general, no.
As opposed to almost any other GOP candidate, no. As opposed to any of the Dem candidates? Reluctantly, yes. (I voted NO for the record, and pray fervently that the last choice up there is never a reality.) |
Nope. I think that JEB is probably a very good man and all but I'm (SOOOOO) tired of
RINOS. |
