I am looking at buying one of the CMP Garands. I don't see anywhere on their webpage where they say you need to provide an FFL and that they must ship to the FFL. I don't have an FFL or a C&R license.

I realize it would be extremely out of the ordinary to ship a gun to someone without a FFL. They mention they do a background check before shipping the gun. Does this bypass the FFL dealer and allow them to ship the gun directly to the purchaser?

Waiting for it to come is a bitch though. I checked the tracking info about a billion times. Like a little kid waiting for Christmas I was.

Yeah, I'm waiting on a Winchester Garand (my first winnie but my fifth garand) and it doesn't get any easier than the first time. Just got the confirmation email and just waiting for it to say shipped.
Hey, I thought I heard a truck go by.......
