But you're right, it's any pregnancy outside of the uterus, and this woman apparently suffered from a very rare form of it. |

This happened when I was young in southern Arkansas. One of my university profs actually had an abdominal x ray from the patient's file (long before the days of medical privacy concerns).
AN elderly woman with a calcified fetus that had been in her abdomen for years and years. |
