I still hope that the AWB will not be renewed, but I don't doubt for a minute the Repulicans won't come to some sort of "compromise".  Bush will sign it...cause Daddy did.

There's nothing wrong with putting a limit to the number of kids you can have while on welfare/assistance though.  For instance, if you go on welfare and have x number of kids, you should have to stay that way to keep getting your assistance. If you have more kids, you lose the welfare/assistance.  There's also the possibility of forced contraception while on welfare, i.e. norplant.  If you are living off of the gov, I don't see why they can't force you to hold off on the baby making.

No offense taken. Someone has to make the hard choices. I'm just saying, can YOU do it? It takes a special person to make a choice where thousands, if not millions, are impacted for the good or the bad. I honestly don't know if I can make that kind of decision.

I'm sure that I could be a good enough leader and make good enough decisions to do it but I would assume that I wouldn't have the experience to do it. It would be the give and take back room dealing that would be hard to get the hang of. Arnold will find out soon that being a successful movie star will not get both houses in the California congress to do what he wants. The only way he will get it done is to take it to the people like Reagan did and that will put the pressure on the congressman to fall in line.

I could certainly lead my state. First I'd draft every able bodied man into the State National Guard. Then I'd declare that it was the private army of the state.  Then I'd mandate that everyone swear a personal oath to me. (Not at me.) I'd mobilize my new army and move quickly against Illinois before they could mount a defense.  After their surrender, I'd draft more men from their state. On capturing their resources, I'd move against Ohio through the I-70 corridor and strike their capitol before they knew what hit them. Consolidating my gains, I'd sign peace treaties with Michigan and Kentucky. In the meantime, I'd establish concentration camps for control and collection of democrats, drug abusers, child molesters, and anyone with two or more violent felonies. Also lawyers, except ETH and Aimless. After things settled down a bit, I'd fire up my execution organization and begin the termination of all those in the camps. Once that I was accomplished, I'd launch a scorched earth invasion of Michigan.  Next, I'd establish DMZ's on the Iowa and Pennsylvania frontiers. After tense but forceful negotiations with Kentucky, I'd force their capitulation by threatening to move the entire population of Detroit (what ever would be left of it) to Louisville. On accomplishing this, I'd mobilize my navy to take control of the Ohio and Mississippi rivers and Lake Michigan and Erie. I'd launch a fifth column effort to spread dissention in Iowa, Wisconsin, Tennessee and Missouri.  One by one I'd subvert their governments and stage coup d'etats in every capitol.  Today the Midwest, tomorrow everywhere else!

Elect me and here's what I'll do in the first 90 days:

1. Buy fifty small bowls and do away with all Republican, Demecratic and parties in general..
2. Place every person's name that voted in the last election in their state of residence's own bowl.
3. Draw the names of the new congressmen and senators for each of the fifty states and replace the existing ones, these people would be able to be voted a second term in office, but after that they go back to their regular jobs which will be protected by law, until such time as their service to our country is over.
4. Fire all current Congressmen and senators, and remove their "golden parachute" retirement programs. I'd much prefer that some waitress, or laundry lady in Illinois was deciding the fate of affairs in Illinois, than the crooks who are currently embedded there.
5. Examine the possibility of making all those previous Congressmen and Senators, re-pay the government for the above program proceeds they have received.
6. Abolish the IRS. Create a "FAIR" system of tax revenue in which those that can pay do, instead of the "middle-class" carrying the lions share of the burden, while the rich skate by paying nuthin.
7. Abolish the Federal Reserve and put this country back on an "honest" monetary system.
8. Make it a law that the goverment must operate "without deficeit spending.
9. Abolish the BATF and repeal all 2nd Ammendment laws to pre-1934 condition.
10. Throw the U.N. outta these United States of America, building (which is full of Illuminati paraphenalia, ie. statues of Zeus and Lucifer symbols, anyway) included, let 'em meet somewhere else "without the US".
11. Prosecute all those responsible for stealing the hard earned money from retirement accounts, starting w/ ENRON and continuing to others. Let the guilty go to jail, who-ever they may be, current sitting presidents, VPs, whatever....
12. Fire every "zionist or ne-con" (mostly one in the same) from Washington, the Pentagon and Foreign Affairs Offices. (it's about time our foreign policy in this country, looked after Americans, Americans jobs and America trade issues; not the "state of Israel", BTW I'd cut-off ALL aid to Israel while I was at it)
13. Fire the US Education Board in this country and create a new one. One in which children "LEARN" about things other than "homosexuality and how to put on a condom" and are not molly-coddled, re-institute grades (real ones, not that "politically correct/don't hurt their feelings" crap we have now). They should also be taught the "truth" about history, if "Remember the Maine" & Pearl Harbor were lies and known by FDR, then this is way history should be taught, let the LIARs of the past be recognized for what they were, traitors alike.
14. Re-organize the NSA, DEA, FBI & the CIA and remove the Patriot Act or Acts. We need to establish a true investigative body, that actually does investigations in this country. If a building is "felled" by burning aircraft fuel, I want to see the metallurgy testing that proves that's why the building fell, not find out that NONE was done, but infact it was hauled away against the protest of "experts" clamoring that testing needed to be done, but wasn't. As a part of the re-organization ANYONE, involved in lying on behalf of the government, crime labs, or their agency wrongdoing, will be procecuted to the full extent of the law and lose not only their jobs and titles but their retirements too.
14. Close all borders and deport anyone who has entered the country illegally since the year 2000. Pass new immigration laws that cannot be circumvented by the CIA (which appaerently was responsible for the majority of the 9/11 hijackers being here in the first place) or any government agency, without oversight approval by Congress.
15. Put a stop to the current WWIII, trend of "global-domination" and "natural-resources theft" in the world. Speak honestly with the citizens of this country and prosecute those "lining their pockets" at present time with "no-bid" contracts and such. Bring our troops home and not have them dying for oil in some "bogus war on terrorists" so folks like Cheney and Bush can get richer. This includes the firing and prosecution of any and all who "STOOD-DOWN" or set-by and allowed 9/11 to occur, as America watched on TV, including the one who thought a story about a "goat" was more important than National Security.

That should make a good start toward put this country back on the track, which the founding fathers intended.

I think I could do a fair job.  I could run under the slogan "You could do worse...and you already have!" and it'd be the most honest campaign slogan in history.

The measure of a President isn't his own skill alone, it's the skill levels and judgement abilities of his cabinet and staff.   So the thing to do if you get elected is HIRE GOOD PEOPLE WITH IMPECCABLE CREDENTIALS.

I'm not much for giving speeches or even speaking in public,  and I don't have a very good speaker's voice, but I guess I could survive the ordeal of a state of the union address once a year and the occasional brief press conference.

I write fairly well, and I'd collaborate with a good speech writer.   That'd help.

My policies would be a bit of a change:  Everything would be focused on providing help for Americans FIRST and the rest of the world LATER.   Bring jobs home to America, especially manufacturing and technology jobs.   Re-arm and reequip our armed services, and increase force strengths.   If necessary, grant market protection to American businesses by any means necessary including restriction of trade to or from any country.

Remove China's "most favored nation" trade status, and eliminate that status entirely.  NOBODY gets it.

Totally remove the U.S. from the United Nations,  and evict them from U.S. soil.  They have to go in search of a new headquarters in some other country.

All previously "forgiven" foreign loans are now UNforgiven and are due and payable immediately.  Failure to repay those loans will result in the seizure of an appropriately valued piece of that foreign nation's land as our own sovereign territory.   Instant colonization!  Attacks upon those seized lands are treated as acts of war.

The Federal Reserve is gone NOW.  America resumes total control of its own monetary system without meddling by outside influences.   New money is issued,  with a two year grace period in which the old money is tied to the new money, dollar for dollar and penny for penny.  After that time, the two currencies are divorced and only the new dollar is used...and it is backed up by gold, which we've stockpiled for two years by buying it with truckloads of the old money.

Gold is now fixed in price.

I could go off on a riff about how I'd change the armed services, and stay on that subject for quite a while, but here are some high points:  
A large across-the-board pay raise, with the lower ranks getting the most increase.  No serviceman should ever be so poorly compensated that he's eligible for food stamps or other public assistance.

The artifical limitation of "Master's degree required" for commissioned officer's positions would be lifted.  Placement of ALL personnel would take place as a result of testing and demonstration of ability.  For example, anyone who passes the tests for pilot school entrance gets to go if he wants to.   Cross training would be routine.  Anyone who's able to get into pilot school (or any other school) will get to do so, and if ther are no positions for pilot when you're done, you'll still have that qualification as your backup MOS and will be paid to maintain your skills.  We may need you to do your second job at some point.

The welfare program is GONE.  It will be impossible for an able person to stay on public assistance for more than a relatively brief period of time.   If he fails to secure a job, the government will provide him with one or he is totally on his own.  He will most assuredly earn his food and shelter if  he wants the government to provide it.  There's work to be done. Lots of it.  Florida alone needs to have literally millions of invasive Brazilian Pepper trees cut down, stumped out, and eradicated.  


By Executive Order, many more things would change.   The '86 ban on MG's would be IGNORED by a blanket pardon and exception.  Same with the AW ban.

Enormous pressure would be applied to Congress to repeal many gun laws.   NOTHING would get past my desk without a VETO stamp on it unless I got many gun laws eliminated.   No budget, no nothing.  Give me my gun rights or suffer for it.
