So do you think theyll make Texans turn in their guns in light of Rita...just as they did to the citizens of New Orleans, etc??

They wont be getting mine.

ETA. I better bring my dog inside.

What city are you in?
Good luck if you are in the storms destructive zone.

I think that trying to take Texan's guns away would make Hurricane Rita a relatively minor problem. IMHO.

Where the fuck are they gonna put 'em all??!

Not only that, but it'd take 'em 3 months to disarm everyone in the disaster area, and that's IF they cooperate.

NO, I don't thin my fellow Houstonions, nor Texans would allow that. But if they come for them, I'll give them up, bullets first

On FNC that Napolitano guy just said that because of the culture in Texas, politicians would never even try confiscating weapons. He also said that according to Texas courts, armed neighborhoods are allowed to shoot people that come onto their property to cause harm when the police cannot respond and shop owners are allowed to shoot looters. Nice! I have a lot more respect for Texas law.

Yea I know it was a boating accident

Now they can say, "I lost all my guns when they were seized from me in N.O."

I won't even give up a butter knife! The LEO's here will hand out their back-up arsenal if there's an emergency.
