I think that we will just happen to nab him in the next week or so.  That would be awsome seeing the libs have strokes.

That would be too cool.  It would be even better if we gave him a sex change and released him back to the Taliban.

I think it is to close to the election to do any good.

If they do it now, sKerry will start on the "They had him all along and they just wanted to wait to use it as an election helper" crap.

No, I feel that the best time would have been a month or two ago.

I have a bad feeling Osama will get us a few days before the election . . .

Not me. I think Osama is dead, and has been since mid-June, when he died of natural causes in a small farmhouse near Peshawar, Pakistan, with at least two of his sons in attendance.

If we did, it would be perceived as dirty pool and manipulation of public opinion.  I think it would backfire, make the public think Bush really is playing them like a violin just like the deranged Michael Moore claims.

How about Bush showing OBL before the election, but they really captured him last month?

Either senario will help President Bush.

I think al-Zarquawi is more likely.  The news that we got one of his top aides could be a preparation for that.

I BLOODY WELL HOPE SO!

Aside from finally frying his ass, it would make for no small measure of amusement to see the left go completely psychotic.

To which the response should be, "Well, do you think we should let him go, then?"

Screw 'em! Ram it down their lying throats!

Goldstein cannot be captured or killed.

No.  It would require a substantial incursion into Pakistan, which would result in destabilizing Musharraf's hold on the government.  This would result in either Musharraf being assasinated or otherwise toppled, thus placing a substantial amount of nukes to be placed into the hands of Taliban and al Qaeda.

It has to be done slowly and delicately.  I don't think President Bush would risk it, even if he were about to lose the election.  Kerry on the other hand would do it in a hearbeat, and then say he was for it before he was against it.

How about on election day?  If few terrorists go shoot up a couple polling places on Nov 2 I'm sure it would depress the voter turnout a lot.  Then cue the DU conspiracy theories.

bin laden is deader than shit, we just can't prove it. i think it's highly unlikely that his death/capture will be announced any time soon. anyways, dead or alive, the problem remains.

He's A darkened red stain on the walls of Tora Bora.

If he were alive, he'd rub it in our faces just to get more followers.

+1  to something like that.  he was in bad health for a long time-diabetic, kidneys failing, all that.

but if i was his followers, no one would ever find the body.

Unless they have an incredible stroke of luck, they won't catch him soon. The Pakistanis are gonna drag their feet in the mountains where they think they have him trapped.
