Just curious, do you know anyone who goes to the taxidermist when a pet dies or is that more of a waspy thing?

Reminds me of a Jackass episode where he was dragging a stuffed German shepherd on wheels in a park while onlookers....looked on.

Stewie: <snicker> "Biscuit."

I prefer to have them turned into rugs. You get more use out of them that way.

Nope. When Doug (Vader Dog) was put down due to cancer last year we had him cremated (we paid extra for an individual cremation instead of the usual "throw a bunch of dog bodies in the oven together").

Did that with my dog too. The vet even made a paw print in clay for me and saved a lock of her hair.

Goddamn, I miss my dog.
