I know Arfcom hates inkies but do you have less of an issue if they have meaning?

Family history, sayings etc....

Ukrainian paratrooper with an wooden hand guards AKS-74. The first tattoo is in Russian (or Ukrainian) and says "For VDV". VDV are the airborne assault troops and "?? ???" hand tattoos are common on all Russian and Ukrainians paratroopers. The second tattoo is Latin for "If you want peace, prepare for war".

Wow, man ... that's like, really deep.

I like most tattoos as long as they are spelled correctly and aren't on your face.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 8:03:57 PM EST
No I don't like tattoos at all.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 8:04:37 PM EST
Not really a fan of tattoos that can't be covered up with a t-shirt.

I like the trying to figure out the meaning behind tattoos. If you study them, you can often figure out their gang affiliation while in prison.

This is what I think of most tattoos.

I've seen some ink that interests me because of the work itself. But, mostly I find I don't care one way or another about someones tattoo. I like mine though.

They all "mean" the same thing: bad judgment.

Link Posted: 10/3/2014 8:19:44 PM EST
All tattoos have meaning. What I think they mean, and what the owner thinks they mean are probably very different, however.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 8:28:12 PM EST
All tattoos have the same meaning. Poor judgment.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 8:28:52 PM EST
Not my thing but if it makes you happy have at it.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 8:29:58 PM EST
I have one and don't like it now, even though I wanted it for years before I got it. Now as an adult, I see how much I evolve as a person and would never do it again. I don't think there is ever enough meaning to justify one. I got a tattoo of my favorite hobby and still favorite hobby, but I realized my tattoo means nothing. I would rather have the 225$ that I spent on it.

I can't figure out why people can't rember their kids' names without tattooing it on their bodies; or their best friend who died or their own name.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 8:32:50 PM EST
The only tattoos I think are silly, are when people get writing in different languages, that they have no ties to. Well-know sayings in the language of its origin, excluded.

Getting "Princess" in kanji? Thats goofy.

I guess so, I mean I have one. Tattoo of the logo on my helmet when I was a member of a Canadian College Football National Championship team. Only one I've ever gotten and in all honesty, I don't know that I've ever considered getting another. It's only visible to my wife.

Seeing Tattoos, just tells me the person is not at all bright.

I can't figure out why some people's grammar and punctuation is so fucking terrible.

I know a PT who has a tattoo on her arm of her son that died at the age of 2. I can't say I really blame her for that one.

If tattoo's are indicators of stupidity and poor judgment, then people posting with poor grammar and even worse spelling must be the lowest of the low.

Being overly judgmental is uglier than any tattoo.

Just sayin'

Uh, no. I guess my commitment to the program had its limits.

Logo of a horses's head on helmet:

On our ring:

ETA: The tattoo is on my hip.

My ink has meaning, otherwise I wouldn't have it.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 9:19:22 PM EST
Don't care why someone has ink.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 9:25:58 PM EST
I like good tattoos. I don't like bad ones. I don't care if someone has them. I've known great people with tattoos, and lazy shitbags without them, and vice versa. Who cares?

I'd get sleeves if I could have Jun Cha do them. It's great work.

Link Posted: 10/3/2014 9:26:01 PM EST
No.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 9:27:46 PM EST
Not really.

My tattoo's meaning: Young people often make poor decisions.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 9:28:42 PM EST
I just like them. It's my opinion and I really don't care what any body else thinks.
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 9:29:55 PM EST
Bad choices usually reoccur, tattoos tell me things about people
Link Posted: 10/3/2014 9:34:14 PM EST
Nope.
I don't understand why someone wants a drawing on their body that they would never put it on a wall in their house.

Honor with your actions and the way you live your life, not cheap ink.
