I'm not talking about any sort of particular change. Not political change, or something like that.

Just.. change in general. Like your favorite website/forum having a re-design. Or a restaurant you visit often changing its menu. Or your childhood home being demolished. Or moving into a new home. Or your wife re-organizes the living room.

You get the point. Well?

Change has always stressed me out. I struggle just getting by every day...

Link Posted: 10/1/2014 3:47:37 PM EST
Generally, no.
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 3:48:42 PM EST
wife re-organizing the furniture...sure, whatever.
new jobs? not really.
new places? nuh-uh
new people? usually not.

though, i'm growing tired of this outlook, and am starting to want a change in scenery....

Nope
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 3:51:49 PM EST
Don't like change, round up.
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 3:52:19 PM EST
Most things I like new stuff. Couple I'll flip out over. So, it depends.

any change before 1963 I am ok with.

ETA: I am ok with change. What I despise is decline.

Hell no. It fucks me up I hate it
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 3:56:03 PM EST
The fastest way for something to change is for me to start liking it.

Being non-specific, I would say to a degree, but it depends on the circumstances.

And it must stay in exactly the same spot.

Doesn't bother me. Change can be good.
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 4:07:42 PM EST
Depends on what the change is.

A forum changing it's format is a pretty minor change. Same with new menu items.

When I was 7 we moved out of the house I was raised from birth to then and going past it on the bus and seeing it being reduced to rubble because it got torn down was not a fun sight to see.

My mom was diagnosed with cancer this year and nearly died due to some complications and we're still not done with everything treatment wise. I also lost a good job earlier this summer and took a not-so-good job in its place.

I live to change things.

Until they are how I want them.

Then they need to STAY THAT WAY!!!!!

Look at any thread bitching about Windows 8 and people that refuse to just install classic shell to quell their complaints.

GD hates change

Nope, I'm a Baptist.
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 4:12:48 PM EST
Meh.
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 4:12:57 PM EST
Is it change I can believe in?

I find it hard to find the audacity to hope in a transparent change. For example: i had to pass the kidney stone in order to see what it looked like, and that was a change i could believe in...

depends on what it is

Screw change.

I have things the way I like 'em.

Don't come in here and "improve" things for me.

I put all my change in a ten gallon glass bottle for when my kid needs a car.

I dislike change for the most part.

Underwear and socks.

Every day.

I would rather move cross-country than have the forum format change.

I thrive in chaos.
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 5:04:34 PM EST
All that jingle jangle from change makes me nervous. I wanna hear the quiet rustle of paper money.
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 5:05:45 PM EST
It completely depends on the change you are talking about. Some change is good, some is bad.

you stole my line,,,,,,,,,

Hope and change
Link Posted: 10/1/2014 5:23:54 PM EST
No, but sometimes it's necessary.

I like change, it makes things interesting. Like moving furniture around, getting new clothes, new car, new house, etc etc.

Really big changes, like laws or the constitution are harder for me to accept. I don't like change that broadly affects everyone.

Same here. It better be a pretty spectacular improvement for me to like it.
