Exactly, and they have since gone on record as being major libs.

Fuck 'em....
Link Posted: 9/8/2004 8:45:54 PM EST
No. Nothing since "License to Ill".

Hey, you asked.
Link Posted: 9/8/2004 8:46:28 PM EST
Yes, until this last CD. Its liberal, socialist, anti bush crap. I cant stand politics in music.

Agreed. They've gotten a little too full of themselves lately. I miss the old days. I don't need to hear anymore about Tibet. I want to hear about drinking brass monkey and throwing eggs at people.
Link Posted: 9/8/2004 8:51:00 PM EST
Nope, don't like them.
Link Posted: 9/8/2004 8:51:21 PM EST
Love 'em. Well, their first 4 big albums anyway.

Oh, they're your average, stupid, liberal entertainers. No wonder I don't know who they are.

Their muzak is pretty cool, can't stand their views though.

At least they don't use the words bling, shizzle, nizzle or bitch in their lyrics though.

The Beastie Boys were formed in 1981 by Mike Diamond (Mike D) and Adam Yauch (MCA) but were an unkown Punk band. Adam Horovitz (King Ad-Rock) joined in 83.

Paul's Boutique is a classic album.
Link Posted: 9/9/2004 3:00:29 AM EST
Their kind of music makes me want to vomit, so I'd have to say NO.
Link Posted: 9/9/2004 3:06:50 AM EST

Link Posted: 9/9/2004 3:11:04 AM EST

Paul's Boutique was great though.

One of there best albums they made, they have some very good stuff, they play everything on the album.

So if they are liberals, most mainstream movie stars and music performers are, I don't look for politics for the mainstream media in the US.
Link Posted: 9/9/2004 3:54:46 AM EST
I liked their oldschool stuff... License to Ill was probably the best... I remember my buddy getting that tape in the 7th grade. We listened to it all the time... had all the lyrics memorized... hehehe

Haven't paid much attention to them in the last 10 years or so.

"High Plains Drifter" & "What You Want" come to mind as some of my old school favorite. Don't care for the recent stuff
