Enough money, very little sense, and not a damn bit of style.
Actually, I just believe in taking the ARFCOM mantra of "get both" a step further. Get them all |
|
If I had the money, I'd have Salient pimp my Glock.
Only thing I'd change, is do the barrel red, instead of gold. |
|
Since you own multiple, are Salient Glocks worth the price tag? Are they that much better?
|
|
Not my taste op but I applaud your freedom to do whatever the hell you want with your money..
|
|
I like the looks of Zev glocks better, but I can't afford either, so I won't hate

Not visible in the picture, but the Costa edition one has a Storm Lake barrel in it for a reason (latest gunsmiths at Salient can't seem to thread a barrel). If you do a search, I posted some more details about my earlier and later experiences with them. If I can dig up the post, I'll copy it here. |

I think the P7 is unmodded, so you'd better send it to me. Looks like a "plum" police trade-in, got the grind mark on the other side?

I'm a gun owner, collector, shooter, and hunter. Oh, and I reload too. Guns are very near and dear to my heart.
That being said, IMHO if you are shooting guns the way they come out of the box you are doing it wrong. There is always something you can modify or change to make it better. It might be small things, but there is always something. |

If you give me your Titan.....I'll buy you a nice steak dinner sometime. Let me know. Is it worth the price tag? Relable? I really want one......................

Why would I hate those guns? That would be racist. Those guns are special and beautiful.

I gotta hand it to Salient Arms... I never would have guessed that anyone could sell a Glock or M&P for over $2000 but they somehow pulled it off.
I have a feeling if it weren't for Chris Costa talking them up, they wouldn't have sold a single damn pistol. |
|
I don't hate them. But I don't like them either. I'll never buy a molded grip pistol if it's at all possible, because they simply do not fit my hands. I'd prefer to go with Pachmeyers on all my handguns.

They just don't work for me. I like to have something I can change out the grips on. If I do end up buying a Glock, and I have thrown the idea around, I'll get it stippled and reduced before I ever shoot it. The only Glock I have shot worth a damn was done that way. |
|
You mean custom? Right?
The term "modded" is for electronics nerds |

Here's a couple of PSA's then 1) That P7 is striker fired and all steel 2) The H&K VP9 has interchangeable backstraps and left & right side panels Ok and one more for the poster before you just because It's "Pachmayr" - I'd think if someone loved a product, they'd know how to spell it right Probably time for you guys to look at some new pistols |

I wish I had your money.
That suppressed G19 is how I want my G17 or G34 to be, minus the Salient work. |

Money. Op has it. No shit. He bought a mini gun and Mk19 not too long ago... BTW how did that build turn out? I can't find that thread. The MK19 has been in the safe since we shot all the practice grenades I had into the side of a junk car. The minigun is still in parts, as I haven't had time to actually work on the receivers. I was at least able to pick up the extra set of bolts and barrels for the second gun. |
