Sad...
After all the trouble Ire and Grock went thru to accomedate everyone during that week (including your "site supporters"). I'm glad the members that do stick around actually contribute to both forums. Sure, you get some bitching over there...why? Because it doesn't get banned/censored/deleted/moderated. Think about it...if you had a beef with someone here, right or wrong, where would you vent? Obviously on the other board that has many of the same members, right? So there ya have it...we are going to get a higher percentage of trolls than you guys at ar15. I'm glad I signed up over there...lots of good folks and I've made my share of friends! Wouldn't trade the site for anything...Proud to help sponsor it [:D] |

I'm a Mod over at pre-ban. I love the availability of being able to vent. Freedom is what it's all about. I have had to do some moderating over there when some things get out of hand, but all together it's a great bunch of guys.
By the way many of the trouble makers have been dealt with over there. No more nazis are around. |

Like I said on the post there that you have about this post here, the pics on some of the avatars and sig lines could get me in trouble here at work which is where I do all my surfing since I don't have my own computer at home. Other than that, it is a fine website. I will still check in at least once a day![:d]}

I have been at[b] pre-ban.com [/b]since the beginning,and I will be there until they tell me to leave.
[b]Grock [/b] is my friend in real life, and although I do not have the priviledge of having met [b]Ire [/b],I also consider him a friend. They are both "straight arrows" and have helped AR15.com everytime we have needed them. Their site is not for everyone,just like this one does not fit every single one of us.There are many of us who feel at home in both or in one of the two and some that are not happy in either.[rolleyes] Be greatful we live in a country where we can choose where we spend out time and in who's company. I also spend time at [b]Full-Auto.com [/b],and Tim and his mods have been nothing but gentlemen towards me. Like everything in life,there are people who don't like me at any of the three sites and there are things I don't agree with at any of the three sites.While I have a lot more to say in what happens here,the other two sites have always been accomodating to me. Guys,they are on our side.Try to look at the good things in everything in life, and you will always be a bit happier [:)] |

I browse over there almost daily. I mostly post over here, except of course when Pre-ban is serving as the safety net for this site...

No. It was very nice of them to help us out during the "dark time," but I for one (I hope I'm not alone in this) appreciate the level of moderation & control on this site - Pre-ban and many others are a little "fast & loose" for me (call me boring if you will - I am, by many's standards). This has been and remains the only site where I spend any time at all. I go other places for specific information, but I "live" here...

I check out both sites almost everyday. I don't post on either site very much. If this place didn't have a hometown forum and Il didn't have such active gun politics, my post count on this site would be alot less than it is.
I like both sites for different reasons. |

yup, a good bunch of folks, much like here. i personally like the fact that you can post a PIC of a kick ass tramp with out a peppy spanking like on here (still haven't figured that one out).
also, some of you guys are being too critical, and acting like a bunch of whiny chicks. they were kind to us, and some of you took a dump on them. when somebody invites you into their home, do you whine up a storm becuase they don't allow you to wear your shoes in the house? just my .02 |
