Excessive alcohol consumption can mess with your REM sleep and suppress dreaming.

I have dreams every night.

And then there's this...

Neil deGrasse Tyson - We Stopped Dreaming (Episode 1)

The spiral ramp shown in the still is in the building where my dad worked for many years.  I was in that lobby several times, but never permitted to go any farther.

Every night.  Usually hyper realistic dreams that stay with me.

I didn't really have a lot of dreams for the 15yrs I drove truck for a living then when I started at my current job I started having dreams most nights. I've read that you only dream when you are in a deep sleep which is probably why I rarely had dreams when I drove truck(unless I was hallucinating from sleep depravation).

Mine usually involve desperately trying to find a clean, private place where I can urinate in peace.

Occasionally. Usually after certain food/amounts of drinking/medication.

My wife has them all the time.

Every night. Some I remember, some I don't but I am always amazed at the shit my sleeping mind comes up with.

I have bathroom dreams a lot for some reason.  Same problem.  Usually I have to poop and there's only like a half door on the bathroom or just a toilet in an open room.

One dream every 10 nights or so.

I don't dream a lot, I need to get an auto set CPAP vs the single pressure model I have now.

I seem to dream only if I sleep mid-mornings. Which was always when I worked third but now maybe if I take a nap on the weekend. Usually wake up feeling like I got some "quality" sleep.

In my recurring dream I'm taking a relaxing leak in a nice clean restroom but then some guy always starts desperately banging on the door, telling me to "hurry up in there".

Most nights.

I love dreams, I love knowing I'm slipping into them as I doze off (thinking gets weird).

Never dream, no REM sleep for me, been thru hospital sleep studies one with drugs. Tech looked at my data and said "damn, you really don't sleep"

ETA Alcohol has the opposite effect on me, don't get any sleep, its like caffeine.

On the subject of content, all my dreams either involve falling, losing my teeth, or I'm back in high school unprepared for a test/project.

When I have dreams, they suck.

People with untreated sleep apnea don't get into rem sleep and therefore don't dream.  Just saying.

Woke up from a good one this morning.

I was in Japan on business with my boss's boss, and the company we were visiting got us hookers and some drugs that I had no idea what they were.  In reality, my boss's boss is a very straight laced kind of guy, but in this dream I learned he turns into a complete animal when he is away on business.  I felt compelled to keep up with him to earn his respect.  It was.....awkward and awesome at the same time

For what feels like all night.

I'd rather just sleep.

I dream a lot. Every night. Multiple, really, really weird dreams.

Sometimes I can wake up from a dream, stay up for a while, and then go back to sleep and pick up dreaming where it left off.

They suck, they always wake me up because they're always violent.

I think like a couple nights ago I dreamt about shooting my friend, I got pissed at myself and woke up all pissed at myself and couldn't remember why until the next night

I'm lucky if I remember one or two vague details of a dream every few months. Usually boring as fuck dreams about shit like work or fixing something. Fuck, I'm not even getting paid for it.

I dream, but it's 50/50 wishing I didn't.
I either dream really cool shit (being able to leap miles and enjoy the scenery), or some really fucked up stuff (watching my son fall to his death in slow motion).

For the most part, my dreams are interesting, but not the dying kid shit.  Fortunately, I've only had variations of the worst, but man do they stick with me.

I can only recall dreams every now and then.

Usually they're strange nightmares that involve me committing a murder or something and trying to cover it up. The guilt and anxiety fuck me up for the rest of the day.

I NEVER dream. I was thinking about this the other day and talking with my gf. She has dreams all the time and thinks it's odd. I may not get REM sleep but I sleep like a fucking rock. I don't get up to piss, or if it gets light out. Hell I slept through a tornado alarm and nasty storm In a tent, woke up in a big ass puddle.

Eta: I do not have sleep apnea.

Before CPAP-no dreams. After getting a CPAP, I dream regularly. (Sometimes weird stuff - but now I get to REM stage sleep.) YMMV
