I was going home from the Walledmart and drove by a radio station, one of the local people had called someone a nappy headed ho or something and all the "thats racist" crowd was out there chanting and holding signs.

I yelled to let the guy stay on the air and gave the counter protestors the thumbs up.

There's a group called "Women In Black" that has been protesting the war every Friday for several years now in Baltimore. They've received everything from the "bird" to heckling to downright obscene filthy insults from me every time I've seen them, depending on what mood I was in.

I generally try to insure I do not make eye contact, talk to nobody and  egress the area as rapidly as possible

Was it Austin Rhodes? (ok, I'm not really sure how to spell his name)

ETA: Google is my friend. Yep, he was the perp.

Just lay on the car horn, drive up next to them and roll down your window -- attempt a conversation.

When they ask you about the car horn noise, feign ignorance, "huh...what noise?"

depends on what they are protesting, if its something I don't agree with usually nothing, but if its something that angers me I'll drive a little to close for comfort (on their side) and roll down my window and let out a weeks worth of anger.

Turn windshield washer sprayer to the side and drive by slowly while washing the windshield... Always good for hoots and hollars.

And yes I've done it.

If they are union people on strike I always flip em off and laugh at em and then call em whiny cunts.

I HATE Unions.  Lets NOT get into a debate here as to why and all the good things and bad things about unions.  Lets just leave it at that so as not to ruin the thread.

The protesters I just tell to get a job.

If only I could get my hands on an old late 80's early 90's Ford Diesel P/U with a manual transmission.  I'd make sure I'd have side exhausts, and tuned up just a "little" on the rich side, and as I drive by, down shift into a low gear, and nail the gas.  Repeat as necessary until I feel better.

If I agree with their cause, I'll honk and give them a thumbs up.  If I disagree I will honk and offer them the bird.  The First Amendment works both ways.

Their was a PETA protest outside of a KFC.  I walked into KFC got a bucket of popcorn chicken and proceded the throw the chicken at the protesters.  They got pissed and started yelling about how bad I was.  I then flipped them the bird got in my truck and drove off.

We have a group called Grandma's for Peace that protest in Sun City (senior only city) I roll down my window and give them a honk.  When they look at me and wave I yell 'God Bless Bush!'  They go crazy and scream and yell and cuss and flip me off.  It lets everyone in traffic see their true side.  I love it.

They usually start chanting or singing all-together as soon as they run out of anything meaningful to say.

take a 5 gallon bucket of water, go pour it along the curb where they are standing...get back into your car and then drive through it and splash them all.

We have 3 people that have been protesting Bush and the war each Saturday in Presque Isle Maine for as long as I can remember. The hold signs and walk the bridge leading into PI.

Ever see this thing? The inflatable union rat..
click on pic

The local UAW has a black pick-up truck with a rat permanently afixed that drives around when the auto mechanics strike.

Some of them are pretty scary, intimidating dudes; i don't say anything ...

I offer encouragement to people that I support. Otherwise I push the noise ordinance with some metal or drive around again to shoot windshield wiper fluid at them. I really need a switch that changes them 90 degrees...

Depends on what they're protesting and what sort of mood I'm in.

I've been known to slow down and chant, "Kill them all! Take their oil! Nuke their land!" to war protesters.

Yeah, and I'm happy with them.  There ya go.  When ya hear all the BS on the road about how bad JB Hunt is, you have to say that you know at least one happy JB Hunt driver.  I've yet to see JB do anything worse than I've seen other companies do.  I've yet to see other companies really really shine over JB.  They pay a hell of a lot more than most other major companies (crete is the exception I know of, and actually we start at 2 cpm higher than them) and I run decent steady miles in nice new equipment and am NEVER pushed to "tweak" my log book.  I've had union 'tards threaten my life, They've cost my stepdad 2 jobs, and just in general, driven prices up and quality down of a lot of my favorite products.  I'm a VERY proud union hater.

Having been raised by and surrounded by Truck Drivers all my life..I am a fan of ball bearings out the window for protesters, or the general public who can't drive competently..
I have known glass bottles to be thrown at abortion protesters standing outside planned parenthood.

As for JB Hunt, Do you know what the difference between JB hunt and Yellow is?
