I'll admit that I've bit on some old, foreign or odd sized cans.
The crates that M67 come in really get me off.

I don't own any, I just leave ammo in the original case.

I must be doing it wrong.

Have some Aussie 7.62 brown cans, a few thirty cal post war cans, some Korean .50 cal cans that the old surplus M2 came in, 5.56 cans, a beat to shit German WWII can and a American WWII .50 cal can. Not as much of a collection, more accumulation...

Hmmm... I don't really "collect" them per se, but I keep them whenever I come across them. For instance, I went to a gunshow a few
years ago, and made a point to buy ammo from the guy who put the rounds in metal milsurp cans. I got 1K 9mm fmj for range use,
and it came in a milsurp can.

I have several 7.62 and 50 cal cans and they are great for storage. I also usually use one to bring ammo to the range.
