I havn't really though about it before, but I'm about to blow some money to buy some tools for the shop; is there any machine tool companies out there like Enco that give military discounts?

find the local suppliers that deal with the base/post (snapon, matco, etc). The guy that pimps to the base have always given me HUGE discounts.

Even local dealers will usually put your purchase as "AF base" and give you a discount

Lowe's has a .mil discount.  10% off really helped when I bought my table saw.

Sears has one on all tools that aren't all ready on sale. It used to be it was only at certain times, but I guess they are changing that.
