I do, Colt R6600-AR15A2 HBAR. Brought new around 1986 for $600

Used it in competition to get my Garand way back when, Garands were $165 through the DCM then. Ah, the good old days. Still have the Thumb Buster too.

Talk at me.

Yes, Colt HBAR I bought in the 80's.

My Dad still has the first AR I ever shot.  Colt SP-1 Carbine he bought in the 70's.

Yes, Standard BM XM15E2 20" ...Shot quite a few highpower matches with it.     Person I bought it from traded it on a DCM model.

ETA got it Summer 01

Link Posted: 10/28/2010 7:00:23 PM EDT
Yep - it's actually currently my only AR.

I just ordered another lower to remedy that situation.  It's going to be turned into a 12.5" Kino config SBR

Nope, colt 16" H-bar. Shot the hell out of it and sold it for what I paid four years later. Took the money and bought a FAL SAR-48.

Nope, traded my first AR, a RRA HBAR middy, for a G26 and then had an excuse to get another AR.  This time it was a 6920.

Link Posted: 10/28/2010 7:19:44 PM EDT

Bought a Bushmaster Post Ban M4A3 carbine about 2003. The one with the fixed M4 stock and Mini-Y comp.

I sold it about 2007, helped the guy I sold it to take off the Mini-Y and install a Phantom about 2008, traded barrels 2009. So I have the barrel on my primary carbine now. Armalite upper group, Lone Star Armory lower.

Slippery slope, addiction, multiple AR's, parts, optics, mags, ammo, melted credit card, pissed wife or GF (need pic to determine) are possible, with reloading gear are in your future.

A roll pin can turn into an AR if you're not careful.

Danny

Up to 16 right now.

Yes, I still have it. It is now low friction/high velocity modified, but all the original parts are bagged and labeled.
