Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Do I have to register?

Ok I am going to build an AR-15.  This will be my first gun, do I have to register it or anything?  I thought the only thing I had to do was buy the parts and get the lower through the FFL dealer, then Im good to go.  Is that right?

If you buy the lower through an ffl holder you shouldnt have any problems.Only the lower has to be bought through a ffl dealer as the rest of the rifle is parts.
