Deceased owner's shop was in National City, MI. A backwoods, crossroads sort of location. Kind of area not to have car issues, especially after dark.

I read the sentence would be up to 5 years. That means a little over 4 years to serve. I haven't heard of people offing themselves for that. Maybe I'm missing something.
