A 49 year old Fort Worth police officer drowned yesterday while trying to recover an anchor near the steel tower. He was diving with 3 other divers.
The reports say he became separated from his diving gear, which surfaced without him.
The news did not give any other details.

I haven't heard any more about it but I haven't sesrched yet either.
The only other thing I did read was that he was training with firefighters- unknown what type of training. He supposedly was trying to retrieve an anchor he had spotted earlier.
They were diving on or near a tower structure.
