I'm absolutely baffled. I've made a thread about her before, but its just gotten so much worse.

My sister is in her mid-20s, graduated HS but no college (even though she had free college money from the VA to the tune of ~$900 month through our dad). At the age of 18 she started working in strip clubs as a bar tender, and then that progressed to dancing for money. She was working full time, then she landed a great job at a large national corporation at around $17/hr!!! a few years ago and only worked at the strip club Friday and Saturday nights. She's dated a bunch of losers (of all races) in the past 6 years.One guy had just gotten out of prison for armed robbery (He robbed his girlfriend's parents at knifepoint and the girl's testimony about what a wonderful man he is helped him get only a 4 year sentence. ) After they broke up (because he went back to jail. He actually ended it with her!) she wanted to move back in with my mom. (It goes without saying that home boy didn't have a job, of course but his drug money helped with the rent)

My mom was in a 1 BR apartment. She loves my precious little sister and decided to move into a larger apartment for my sister and charge her only the increase in rent. (About $200 a month). Its important to note here that my mom barely scrapes by. She is a cashier at a grocery store.

Anyway, now that you have the background, here is what's going on.

My sister met some complete loser. He has a rap sheet a mile long and through an LEO buddy of mine we found out he was rolling around in a stolen whip. He's her first white boyfriend in at least 5 years so my mom was completely in support. Unlike my racist mother however, I know that losers come in all colors. I told my mom that bad things were going to come from this and she needed to kick her out. What does she do? Co-sign on a brand new Chrysler 300 for my sister and then puts my sister on my mom's insurance policy. I warn my mom repeatedly that this is not going to end well and she's going to be up shit's creek without a paddle. No no no, your sister has changed.

Well, douchebag convinces my sister he'll support her and promises "he has a $7,000 ring he's going to give her real soon." She gets all giddy, quits her job, and moves in with him.

Then he gets arrested. She's out with no place to go, so my mom lets her move back in with her. Now my mom has the extra rent money, the extra car insurance money, and the extra car payment. It amounts to over $1,000 a month. My mom has enough savings to get her to the end of March. Come April some cars are going to start getting repo'd and she's getting evicted.

I would sell my car (I own it free and clear) and buy my sister's car but its been completely trashed. The front bumper is hanging on by some gerry rigged tape and shit due to her driving home drunk, and the interior is completely ruined. No thanks.

I then told my mom I would let her move in with me. She said only if my sister can come with her. I told her not no, but Hell no. I launched into a tirade about I would have absolutely no qualms whatsoever about seeing my mom beg for money in the streets if she was too stupid to see that my sister is bad news and I absolutely cannot let her live with me. (She actually doesn't even know where I live, and for good reason). My mom called me heartless and said "I have to stay with my baby".

Sucks for them. I leave tomorrow for vacation. Poverty sucks and stupidity hurts.

Cliffs: Mom trusted dirtbag sister to "pay her bills" even though they were my mom's responsibility to get paid. My mom can't pay her bills and my sister's bills simultaneously. Sister left mom high and dry for douchebag who promised to marry her. She quit her good paying job and moved in with douchebag. Douchebag got arrested and evicted. Sister has no income. Mom is getting evicted. I told mom she can move in with me, but she won't unless I bring dirtbag sister in too. I 100% will not under any circumstances let her know where I even live, let alone have her live with me. Mom is going to be homeless soon. Not my problem anymore.

OP, divorce yourself from your mom like you have with your sister until she cuts ties. In many cases the poor remains that way due to continually making bad decisions.  Sorry bud....I have a much smaller but similar issues with my sister, (shitty choices in men,) that have caused problems for her and my parents. At some point you just have to let people live with their decisions in life.

Not one dime.. My wifes family us infested with deadbeat Obama lovers. One sister makes $70,000 a year teaching school and doesn't have a pot to piss in because she supports two worthless daughters. Her brother and his wife have been bankrupt twice and owes everyone in the family but me money. Another sister was a massage therapist, then a physic anything that doesn't require work. When the teacher came for a loan I told her I'd put every dollar I own in a pile in my driveway and burn it before I'd loan her a cent. But that's just me.

Please send sister north for immediate re-education. In all seriousness, sorry for the fucked up family sitiation. I have a scumbag half brother that seems to never learn his lession and always winds up  back in prison. My father and I have given up completely on him as he would,and has, robbed his family. I have other family members though that still think he has gotten a raw deal but over time they seem to have started figuring out he is a scumbag.

My mom is a homeless bipolar addict.  She gets 1700$ a month alimony and SNAP and medicaid but still cant keep it together. Won't be helped, can't be helped. Believes she doesn't have to help herself, because someone else will do it for her.   No amount of money can fix that crazy.
