Here's what we had to offer:

One Part Texas Gulf Shrimp;
in Double Flour/Cracker Batter


One Part Steak - Texas Beef


Add Texas Tomato ( and 350degree oven)



and then Dinner is served.


Don't mind if I share recipe's if asked.

eta RECIPE'S
Per the Lady's Request .........


Double Cracker Batter Shrimp

Gulf Shrimp 9/12's  (count is 9 -12 a pound)
Flour
Saltine Crackers
2 eggs
1 cup Milk

----Clean and De-Vein the Shrimp, removing the exo-skeleton and leaving the last segment of shell and tail in place.  Salt and Pepper the flour (first part of batter).  Mix Milk and eggs together and salt/pepper to taste.  Crush a couple sleeves of Saltine Crackers to desired consistency.  Batter the shrimp in the following order:
First into the milk/egg wash.
Second Coat in flour mixture.
Third Go BACK into the milk/egg wash (second bath)
Fourth Press into Crushed Crackers

Deep Fry in your fav. oil until golden brown.

Texas Steak

Take a few Texas Sized Steaks (your fav. will do)
Salt and Pepper to taste.
Sear Slightly over open flame to personal liking.....
A good steak should need nothing more.

Texas Tomato's (Q Style)

Medium Sized Tomato's
Salt
Pepper
FF Onions (canned variety)
Bread Crumbs (seasoned)
Olive Oil

Cut top (stem end) of tomato off and partially core it out.  Place a handful of French Fried Onions (can variety found on dry shelf near can vegetables) to fill half of the cored Tomato, and press into place.  Add Seasoned Bread Crumbs to the Top and press into place.   Top off with a tablespoon of good Olive Oil and bake in 350 degree oven until bread crumb topping is Golden Brown.

My rules are simple: Guns & food are mandatory. The guns shouldn't suck, and the food should be tasty. Everything else is optional and frequently overdone. I see a nice rifle & pistol. I see a helluva good looking meal. Score: 10.

BTW - that fork is pretty cool.
