Just a quick dinner pic from out in the driveway earlier. Got a couple of bushels of these Saturday and still had about a 1/4 bushel leftover after two days at the hunting camp and a cookout today.

Dig a few out from under the ice.

A little prying

All set-up

hhhhhmmmm....sweet, salty goodness

I don't know what's on that cracker, son.  But the last thing I'd do with it is eat it.

I love them, but for God's sake put a glove on.  After about a dozen puncture wounds in my life I finally learned.

I shucked 60 once without a glove.  I don't know how I made it without a hole in my hand.  There were a couple of slips where I was afraid to look down, amazingly no holes...

My dad stuck an oyster knife into his palm on saturday, just a flesh wound though. I opened one for the picture with nothing, was using a dirty washrag for the rest after that since I left my glove over at our hunting camp.
